THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- "Dangerous Wounds" -Mermaids? Word! Also, enter Dryden -Once again Hitomi is spot on. Van's injuries are caused by Escaflowne. If this were sci fi mecha I'm sure his synch ration would be over 200% or something. -Dryden is way too knowledgeable. The Escaflowne has the best customer service ever!... $50 million?!? Oh sh*t! Nevermind! -The blood pact performed @ the beginning of the series takes on new meaning thanks to this ep. -Once again Dilandau's squad faces off w/ Van & Escaflowne. Oh sh*t! BERSERKER!! -Dilandau is saved by his dead subordinates! -Van apparently OD'ed on Escaflowne's power! Wow! What an episode and what a fight! Or maybe I should call it a massacre. The Dragonslayers received brutal, graphic deaths. Seeing a Guymelef's head being crushed and spewing blood certainly raised an eyebrow. I wonder where the series is taking us now. Looks like we got cute cat girls coming in the next ep.  |

That. was. awesome! Van totally ripped Dilandau's forces apart. They didn't stand a chance. I wonder why he suddenly improved so much in combat. Probably synchronizing even further with Escaflowne.  |

I have mixed feelings about this episode. It was great until that last part, it really didn't make any sense. Van got defeated by the ghosts or did he get insane!!?? Hopefully there's answers on the next episode. Anyway, I'm looking forward for the next episode. By the way, don't you think calling this anime a "shoujo" is a bit ridiculous? No matter how hard I look at this, I don't see where's the "shoujo" in it. |

"Fifty million" lol. That was a sweet action scene. Perhaps is to early for Albatou's dead, he is an important antagonist; I was amused at how freak out he was.  |

There scene where escaflowne gets repared was heart breaking. Van suffering, Merle crying and Hitomi trying to reconfort her even if herself is terrified. animalia said: That fight was was both cathartic and terrifying Agreed. *shivers* |

Poor Van. I wonder where he got dragged away to.. And I wonder what Zaibach plans to do with Atlantis' power. And when Hitomi will realize she loves Van.  i'm so awful. |

i don't really understand what happened at the end tbh BUT MY GOD THE MUSIC. sweet lord i want the soundtrack. i like dryden - he seems like a good addition to the character roster. though i'm not sure if he'll be a good character or an evil character as it stands. allen still needs to stfu + stfd though. |
