| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- "The Day the Angel Flew" Looks like Hitomi has figured out that Van is the angel from her visions. We also learn a bit about how the Guymelefs function. I'm looking forward to seeing Dilandau hopefully next ep. The dream sequence at the beginning can be pretty confusing for someone who had this series on hold for as long as I have. :-P |

| Lizards do that as a natural defense. Their tails break off and continue to wiggle around so that they can escape. Their tails grow back in like two weeks. I broke off a lizard tail as a kid and it scared me to death XD |
| I am amazed noone is complaining about the large zone covered by the beeper. It never bothered me but was a big problem for most of the people I introduced to the series. 4/5 (rewatch) |

| Pagers, now Escaflowne's become a period piece. So all of this is i real time? Amano could communicate with Hitomi, why page her now after 8 episodes which should be longer than a few days. What would Hitomi do if it runs out of battery? Was the lizard tail symbolic of escaping or something? |
