What are your favorite songs from all of the Macross series? Do you love everything by Mari Ijima? Or are you more addicted to Voices?

Personally my favorite is from Macross 7, the duet version of Holy Lonely Light. I'm also a big fan of Information High from Macross Plus, Watashi no Kare wa Pilot fast beat version, and uh, most songs really... but especially the Macross 7 songs ^^; The original Macross opening song holds a special place too lol (and I like Yoshiki Fukuyama's aka Basara's version as well)

When sleeping - "Voices". Don't know why just like it

"Shao Pai Long (Little White Dragon)" is my most favorite, fit for any macross battle scene IMO

Gods, favorite? I'm not sure I have one. I can honestly say I like all of the BGM and songs from each series I have seen. I guess if I could only have one on a desert island with a CD player I would probably go for the Macross 20th Aniversery Orcastral renditions CD. It has stuff from all the series with original vocalists and an, obviously, orcastra. Some very moving versions of the original series songs and seme very cool stuff from Plus.

My favorite is "Ai Oboete Imasu Ka". This song really touched me. When I heard it on Macross: Flash Back 2012, It made me remember how good Macross was. ^^

That song also nice to hear when the battle in the movie

Many macross songs fit well for war theme, especially space battle and dogfights

It's pretty tough for me to pick one Fire Bomber song though. There are so many good ones (and some bad ones...). I don't have anything from Zero that I was really into, even though FictionJunction YUUKA did the ending.

What about the 1st episode ending of macross zero? i always like that one, sounds... mystical?
Unlike other macross songs which usually pop, zero has it's own atmosphere

Right now "Triangular" of macross frontier sounds great too, perfect for a space battle i think^^

I've been trying to break the tie between Alone in the Dark (Macross Plus) and Welcome to my Fanclub's night (Macross Frontier) for months now

My favorites should be the original Macross TV opening and ending songs, Minmei's Tenshi no Enogu and most of Sharon Apple songs.

the orginal series' OP is quite good, while Yoko Kanno pwns all with the music for both Plus and Frontier.

Still listening to "Tenshi no Enogu". Combined with the video clip and you get macross ultimate diva.^^
