| Slightly rushed and a bit cheesy at times, but the animation is good, the robots in this have likeable designs and the action is decent. Good find. |

| Wait.. what Shoko just died like that ? I was expecting more depression but he was rather quick on wanting to get revenge lol. A sudden stab and brutal bite is a good way to end the first episode. The fight was quite nice too. |

| Meaningless character slaughter in the first episode?? We only saw Shoko for 10 minutes and you expect us to care? The Valvrave (OP mecha robot) is extremely conveniently nearby MC at the time he desires revenge for his highschool crush (not even girlfriend yet) who just died. Not only that, but how the fuck does a completely random, irrelevant highschool student hijack a mecha? Why the fuck was there no one around to stop him? The Valvrave is supposedly a pretty important weapon, so why the fuck was it left completely insecure and unguarded for literally anyone to jump in? Why the fuck did it take the MC so long to figure out he had to press "yes" for the mecha to work? +Untrained person is magically able to pilot a mecha cliche. End scene: what the fuck. MC was stabbed through and shot on both sides of the chest. Then stands up and bites the guy. What the fuck. If this is a space/mecha/vampire crossover, Im down for it. But I expect a lot of explanation in episode2. And I already have very low expectations for this series. |

| Great start, i haven't watched any mechs since Gundam Unicorn. The MC is fucking wimp, are you fucking serious Love the animation and the CG mech scenes are not bad at all. Watching it in BD is even godly!! I'm just here for the mech battles. I can already tell the story will be confusing as hell with vampiric like powers controlling mechs etc. Can't wait for the next episode! |
| Going into this anime, I was kinda hoping Shouko (who I assumed would've been the MC's initial love interest) would die in order to spark some sort of drive into the MC. Things went as planned, but I was not expecting that ending tho lol. That blood tho.. I felt like my own heart got stabbed.. yeezus. |

| ugh. i hated that the valvrave stabbed his neck, i'm still thinking about it and it's giving me the crawlies. okay so i'm assuming there was a part after the ending song? because everyone is talking about how he becomes a vampire but uh... i didn't get that. mc is pretty cute, glad that shoko died.. i feel that she's coming back for sure though. the best part was the fighting animation, that was a real hoot. edit: just went back to watch that part. for a mecha anime to have vampires is so strange, right up my alley though. anything with vampires unfortunately tickles my feather so i'm all aboard with this |

| Establishing the setting, characters or any other context behind anything that's happening was apparently deemed unnecessary here. At least it has a thousand shock value scenes a minute, an obligatory spineless pussy of a main character, a similarly mandatory angsty dickhead rival, and the designated tomboy love interest to drive our brave protagonist forward. Ticking off every checkbox in the "wannabe mature mecha" list. I refuse to watch another episode of this abortion of a series. |
