| Is it possible for outsiders to contribute other genres to this list?Unfortunately I have never used git and stuff like that. Is that javascript?or what code language? If possible I would like to have achievements for 10-20 genres.With genres like shounen ai & yaoi(eww :P) combined into one and the genres shoujo ai & yuri(nice:P) also combined into one. Well I am a yuri shipper. |

| I wanted to ask for ol' good shounen and shoujo achievements, but then again I remembered majority of the first ones are not finished. So maybe a milestone for hundred or two hundred episodes for long-runners? Other than that, I would like to propose "franchise fan" achievements if you ever think about expanding this option. Also opting for yuri, yaoi and hentai for variety ^^ and majority of TaquishaJohnson's proposals are cool too. |
| We need one for those that review a lot I think. Like if someone reviews almost every anime they see or something. I know I would get it because I do that but other's might be interested in something like that to. It would get more people writing I would hope. |

When I think of achievements, I think of something where you ACHIEVE something big, something like an "Animage top 100 anime achievement", that would be rewarded when you watch EVERY anime in the Animage top 100 list, that includes anime from 1943 all the way to 2000. THAT's what I would call an ACHIEVEMENT, not watching some short animations. By that reasoning, none of the current achievements are achievements. Especially the Boku no Pico achievement is even easier, and the genre-specific ones just 'happen', it's not like you hunt for them, they are just there to show what you watch. I can't think of any game or website with just achievements you have to specifically invest a lot of time in to get. |

(I said 'with JUST achievements') I was just trying to say that although it's fine to have some achievements like that, it's not like it's not achievement worthy anymore if it isn't an achievement like that. |

I looked over the xml list for the achievements and was looking over some of the titles and I noticed there were tons of titles not listed... one that caught my eye was that the Mahou Shoujo category was missing titles such as: Mahou Shojo Ai, Mahou Shojo Ai San, Mahou Shojo Erena, Mahou Shojo Isuka, Mahou Shojo Meruru and Mahou Shojo Sae.... so here is the question" are these titles not included in the list because A) You don't know about them? B) You know, but have not gotten around to them? or C) not included because they are Rx rated items? Also, if the XML is correct, you only have 18 Mech titles listed... is that correct? |

In other words, if a group has very few titles but high thresholds, then it's automatically generated from MAL's genres. |

Some titles that come to mind are the whole Higurashi franchise, Another and Gyo. ---- Also, while we're at it, I think there should be a Seinen manga achievement. These aren't as common as shonen titles, so it's quite an achievement (duh) when people go and read those ones. EDIT: Hi! Btw First time posting in MALgraph club :D |
