Wait, so they've actually made a swimsuit/fan service ep in a mecha show? They weren't taking themselves too seriously so far but this might be too much. Especially after all the drama in the first few eps.

Anyways, lots of beach scenes, lots of swimsuits, lots of boing boing, trauma from severe bloodloss on Kouichi's part. Plus some multi-angle romance, afro samurai and an octopus. Yes, a 50-foot giant octopus that noone seemed to f* notice,only so we could have scenes that To Love-Ru would be embarrassed about.

Two things might save this episode from utter failure:
1. Development in both the Kouichi x Risako and Kouichi x Kizaki relationships
2. I'm a fanservice-loving bastard! bouncy bouncy

Ps.: please! decide already! Is Yamashita male, female, shemale, crossdresser or what?!

there are some shemales in the show :) ... that twin brother (forgot his name) and that lady... wtf were they doing in that hole?

a complete fanservice ep... not bad (I also like fanservice)...

I don't think I'll read the manga until the anime is done... else I'll probably find it crap

The first thing I have to say is Fan Service episode! The other thing I will say is Risako x Hayase finally! :3

Now on to the review, and I will use nose bleed (when there was a actual sexual response) and MOE (very cute scene that I did find cute) terms.

Jack Smith finally recovers from his terrible lost against Reiji. Not surprised that Katou Kikan has some regenerative technology after all they have stealth in Armas as well.

It obvious the first thing anyone sees that has to do with island resort/Risako in bathing suit would tell them this is going to be a fan service extra episode. This episodes screams NOSEBLEEDS! The bikini and tentacle monster was just the soft core version the tentacle rapes of hentai. Found it funny when Makoto went to flirt with Miu as well as with Shizuna.

Risako' bikini did make *nosebleed* when the episode started. I found that LineBarrels being summoned for bathing suit transport was stupid! I laughed just because it was stupid. MOE when Rachel was scolding Hayase.

Obvious the bathing suit gallery was another *nosebleed* big time. Yes, I had pretty much a similar reaction to the ones of Hayase and Makoto. Hayase was so funny afterwards when Risako took his arm in between her breasts *nosebleed*. The girls coming in swimsuits was another *nosebleed*. I want are they screwing around with our minds or not? Why would Yamashita wear a two top bikini when he is a guy? Unless it was to be a joke (I would understand that).

Major *nosebleed* on the breasts of Yuriannu. WTH, they are so huge! *nosebleed*
Ok the whole watermelon smashing was fun to watch but WTH is it that Yamashita is blushing about Reiji? Unless he is gay then I find it not cool. I mean is Yamashita really a guy or girl?

Ok obviously Hayase would fantasizes about which to pick Kizaki or Risako? Yet another *nosebleed* at that part since he fantasized them in bikinis. Then to my surprise Kizaki shows up. That scene was hot and MOE until stupid #$^%$^#%^&$#%#%&% Makoto had to interrupt! :O Boo! That kiss was supposed to happen!

Obviously Jack Smith making the appearance at the resort would make me think things would get interesting. Risako cooking skills are amazing and now I know she can be a great wife to Hayase compared to Kizaki. It was also nice to see Risako with the Endo twins since she did meet them until now. So I would say that this is a pretty wild episode for Risako since she meets many new people. It was also surprising they would pull a MOE scene of Jack Smith.

Miu and Rachel were MOE with their bikinis when they were carrying wood and the tentacles grab them. At which I wondering if there would more implications.

Good thing there was at least a heavy moment between Ishigami and Hisataka at the grave site. That was pretty good I would have to say for something within a fan service episode. Risako once again MOE when walking in the jungle with Hayase and Makoto, especially at the part when a droplet of water came running down towards her. Hayase was so MOE when he picked that bikini of Kizaki and though of her naked. The slap that followed from Risako was even better! :D

The twins in the cave, well they seemed afraid. Things started when Izuna got separated from Shizuna and ran into Yuriannu. I don't want to go into conclusions too much but it seemed to me that Shizuna and Yuriannu were engaged in some sexual thing. I mean they seemed as though they just f***** the way they were blushing at one point. Owgawa had to get captured of course by the tentacle monster.

The tentacle monster appears. Hayase tried to summon LineBarrel and fails O_o? Due to only energy drain cause he had too many nose bleedings? That was lame! Good thing they put Jack Smith into action to slice the monster to pieces. Kizaki was obviously naked so *nosebleed* right there. Surprised that Jack does have a crush on Risako and that he saves her while Hayase was another good thing he saves Kizaki but that made Risako jealous.

So as the end of the episode approaches, the biggest surprise happens! Risako actually kisses Hayase! O_O OMG this finally means that Risako proclaimed her love for Hayase! Great! Finally childhood friend makes love confession to another childhood friend. That was a good end!

I know it's a pointless argument, being anime and everything, but who came up with the concept of nosebleed? why nosebleed? people don't take their vitamins in japan or what? I mean I never had a nosebleed over some t'n'a (except for that one time,but that's R+, lol)


To stay on topic, I think Shizuna and Lady Bigboobs were simply fighting.. in the dark.. like hand..to-hand combat.. you know
They just want us to think that something happened! Something other.. than fighting

How much more fail can they stuff in this anime

I don't think of this episode as fail.
I actually find it extremely fun. Yes, it went far away from main story, but heck, it was funny as hell. And Yamashita...ok, make up your minds, girl or a boy?
In one episode I think it's a girl, in next everyone says HE, and now this?
His/Her's character animation doesn't help either, looks very strange.
Oh yeah....I don't like it he kissed Risako,and not Kizaki, although I find Risako to be better character.

Now that the fun episode is done, lets get back to boring and uninteresting story...

Thanks to this episode this article got in. Guess this show has its own reputation now.

Shameless episode...I could have sworn that it was all but confirmed that Yamashita was a boy in the last couple of episodes...and now, she's back to being a girl....translation problem I guess? Which means I was right about Yamashita and that other guy. Lame episode. Hated it.

Ah, but how can fanservice be fail?

lawl at Yamashita in bikini. I'm thinking he's a sheman (hermaphrodite) but then again I didn't see any bulge around the crotch area so maybe he had a sex change and that was his first time in a womens bikini XD.

I am convinced that Yamashita has no gender, and between it's legs is absolutely nothing. But, aside from that, am I mistaken, or did Yuriannu just make Izuna into a man?

Yamashita's a boy. When the boss formally introduces him in volume 2 of the manga, on page 86, he uses the masculine pronoun "kare"; also, "Satoru" is a boy's name.

Furthermore, the manga version of this episode makes it extremely, unquestionably clear by its execution that Shizuna's presentation of Yamashita in bikini was a joke, one which Izuna apparently did _not_ appreciate at all, given that he flipped out and yelled that Shizuna's joke was too over-the-top and that Yamashita should be embarassed to be dressed like that. By now everyone should have recognized that emasculating men, in one way or another, is one of Shizuna's favorite pastimes.

As for the lack of bulge...well, if you don't accept "invisible manhood syndrome" as the explanation, google "how to tuck." It's also possible that the bikini bottom is actually a gaff.

so the trap/reverse trap whatever got Kouichi the most excited.

Risako made a move after feeling him drift apart. I like her a lot more than Kizaki even if she's probably going to lose. It feels wrong to not get with her. I remember him telling his best friend he loved her when fighting.

funny how the octopus only targeted the women. oh and did that Kato women .... "rape" the male twin? lol lucky kid.
