| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Not bad so far and I definitely got this Persona 4 vibe. Idk why but it also reminded me of Mirai Nikki in a way. Well, the characters' designs are okay and there's definitely some tensions going on. Nice:  Oh and nice summons. Well, 7 days left till world goes bye-bye~. Definitely liking where this is going so far. |

| Not bad for a first episode although they cut like a whole lot part from the game first day . and they did change some scene but overall it was good . The opening and ending theme kick-ass |

| It needs to be stated first this episode has really beautiful artwork, clean animation and overall just a lot of money poured into it. I liked the sense of mystery this premiere evoked whether its the site Nicaea. the demons, or the organization Miyuki Sawashiro's character is a part of JP. The OST sounds similar to some tracks in Catherine which is made by the people who did the Devil Survivor series. Probably my favorite premiere of the season so far but I have many more to watch I'll be going into this series blind with no previous exposure |

| Okay, honestly I have gone into this show completely cold having never played any of the games or anything. And I have to say that I'm not sold on this show...at all. It actually seems like I'm playing a game, and that's not the feeling I want when watching anime. The animation is really good though the music is subpar. I find Nicaea a weird game that I have no idea why so many people would be interested in it. Why the heck would you want to send people pictures of your death? Gruesome much? I might try more of this show later, for right now, its not grabbing me. |

| I came in expecting a subpar production like the Persona 4 anime since it's directed by the same director, but I was pleasantly surprised. The characters and their interactions with each other felt very realistic and I didn't even need to hold my suspension of disbelief especially because of the level-headed MC. Glad this show doesn't seem like it will deal with high-school-hijinks like almost every anime involving high school students and focus on the interesting parts. The Persona 4 adaption tried to maintain the feeling of the game as much as possible and felt disjointed and badly paced as a result. That doesn't seem like it's the case here as the directing maintained a continuous flow and seemed like it tried to stand on its own (like it should). |

| Loved it!!! DAT OP is so good. The ED isn't far behind :) Really has some P4 vibes but I liked this better for now. Concept is interesting and the characters seem intriguing. Can't wait for more :D |

| Loved this episode, I haven't played the game so I don't know how it's supposed to be but its great, I love the characters already because they aren't standing around going "NOOO!" and actually do the smart things. Also the ED song was awesome. |
| So they changed a lot of things of the first day... Duhbe and first day in one chapter, not sure if i like it. But well it was way better than P4 first episode, considering the horrible pace problems p4 animation had i shouldn't expect too much from this. | 5/5 epic shit! good animation. great music. love the character designs.i like that CGI isnt so overused. enjoyed the episode in glorious 1080p. thats my kind of anime. i was surprised the ice cone could bleed ^^ |
| Hohoho!!! What a nice start of the premise! Love it! Survival themes again! It is the revenge of the ice cream! Shooting lasers and explodes like shit. The anime reminds me of Mirai Nikki, Persona 4, C, and K from the mood and composition of the episode and Durarara because our main characters has a big uncanny resemblance to Ryuugamine, Kida, and Anri! Love that they have those familiars... and it seems you can have 3!!! Looking forward to more of this series! Has a lot of potential! Hope it lasts for 24 episodes. |

| I actually am playing the game (having finished it yet am somewhere in the middle I guess) most characters have been revealed at least to me. But I'll give my first impression non the less. Animation: Average, not bad but also not outstanding I saw a lot of CG used in this episode, mostly for passengers but also for dubhe. I didn't mind it though. I like the character designs in the game and they look true to the original concept arts in the show. Backgrounds are generic, nothing noteworthy. Sound: The OP is catchy but generic. It also doesn't fit the dark tone of the show at all. Total fail imo. ED is generic and bad. Voiceacting we have, Hiroshi Kamiya, also known as Araragi, or Yuzuru from Bakemonogateri / Angel beats. All I can say, fuck yeah he is one of my fav. male voice actors. The other noteworthy VA is Miyuki Sawashiro, as Makoto. Perfect fit. When I saw her I knew her voice woul be Sawashiro, it couldn't be any other way. It's like loli tsunderes and Rie Kugimiya. These Kuudere characters are just her style. The overall soundtrack was pretty good, but I doubt it will be as amazing as Person 4. Story/Characters: Since I play the game I am already familiar with the story and characters. So I don't wanna spoil.All i can say my favorite characters have yet not been introduced or had enough time on screen. The only interesting part of the anime is the MC since he is a blank one in the game. He is smart, responsive and not over the top. I like him so far. The overall cast is mostly likable. The story moves kinda fast compared to the game. The whole Dubhe thing doesn't even happen that soon. But well I guess the game has too much content to make it fit in most likely 13 episodes. (maybe it has more?). Overall I enjoyed this EP greatly 5/5 |

You might want to watch the blu ray for the first episode of persona 4 they extended it so it comes off better though of course it was still rushed. I am liking this anime so far seems like it will be pretty good i might have to get a Nintendo DS so i can play the game i guess. Well looking forward to seeing how this one turns out. |

| Now, this show looks fairly decent. It's got a pretty gimcky premise, however it is being executed well, and whilst it probably won't be the best show ever, I actually look forward to this one quite a bit. Though from the early stages it already looks like Hibiki is unintentionally stealing Nitta away from Daichi. Oosh. Actually, a minor gripe is how Daichi is so useless compared to Hibiki. I know one is the main character, but that disparity is pretty annoying, poor Daichi! |
| A very good start to say the least. The premise is quite interesting and I see great potential in the series if the rest of the show continues to deliver this kind of quality. |
