I thought this part was a little too slow and boring. The animation and the music were fantastic but that "plot" was simply not entertaining. I guess it was necessary to show this but they probably could have made this into a 20-30 minute part of another movie and then continued with Touko teaching her about her new eyes etc. On the other hand, KnK is probably meant to be similar to the LOTR, one very long story, so having a short part about Shiki's "supernatural birth" is perfectly fine. In any case, I'm looking forward to the fifth one, from the preview it looks like it's going to be great. |

Great fourth episode for sure! But here's my question, if any of you noticed...around 44:40 to 44:45 that guy from the second episode appeared! Drenched in blood. I totally figured that he must make an appearance again after what he told Shiki in the second movie. With the whole thing "I know your impatient, but don't you think four people is too much?" Does anyone know whether he will be playing a major part in the next movie? I squeeled like mad when I noticed he was the guy from before. LOL. Kaori |

gameoffreak8 said: It was amazing and wonderful movie even I've seen so far. As wakka9ca said, this movie does explain and clear things up a lot. It has lots of development, great fight at the end, and the soundtracks are getting better. In addition, it had an excellent animation, superb music, great BGM, and great voice acting as both animation and music are still top notch. However, I'm unsatisfied with the length. Shiki with the long hair <3 Of course, I was sad to see Shiki cut her own hair, but I don't mind about that. I can't wait to watch the next movie after I watched the preview. I hope the length on that movie would be longer. 10/10 This works for me also |

I had been expecting a lot more. It was short, and not all that much really happened. It was by all means entertaining, but I wanted more plot advancement. 6/10. |

Once again a very good adaption of the novel, the direction and animation were a bit better than in movie 3 (although this movie was much calmer and mostly located in an hospital), and some great key animation is spread out through the movie, so it's again an awesome visualization of the novel. The visual presentation is also well supported by Kajiura's great music, especially during the silent night scenes in hospital. The story is closely adapted from the novel and therefore quite sophisticated in comparison to other recent anime movies. This movie was short, but nevertheless it was pretty intense, the next one will be much longer so I hope they keep up the high animation standard, story-wise it will be great anyway (because of the excellent source material). |

First three movies were 10 on my scale, but this one is 9. It was kind of slow and not exciting as the others. The best scene was : "All right. Fehu, Uruz, Thurisaz ... XD |

Really my good sir? If you had been paying attention (or at least read the synopsis of one of the movies) you would know that Shiki had two different personalities. And so on and so forth. :| |

As many have said, IT WAS TOO SHORT! It was not much longer than a regular 30minute anime episode...TT-TT Although this episode wasnt as action packed as the previous ones, it was still interesting to watch. It was one of the more emotional movies in the series; It was quite sad to see Shiki in such a state... On the other hand, Touko is becoming a better character in each movie I watch! I say her voice actress is doing a great job with Touko's different personalities. :] I'm really looking forward to the next episode; it seems quite exciting! |

Hmm. The level of writing has stayed consistent from last episode. Which is to say that it's worked itself out of the negatives, and can start accomplishing things. Still not exactly a fan of the series, but I haven't hated the past two episodes. The pacing of this movie was the best so far. I wasn't constantly checking the time to see how much was left. The fact that it was shorter probably had a lot to do with this, and I'm kind of nervous to see that the fifth one will be twice as long as the earlier movies. The fact that Touko could tell what Shiki's ability was (and even had a name for it) is weird. The impression I got was that the Death Eyes ability was unique to Shiki, but apparently not. I can accept that event as "whatever, maybe Touko made up a name on the fly," though. I also don't like the fact that Shiki stabbed herself, especially after the anti-suicide message of the first episode. "Kill my weaker self," sounds pretty cool, but it's inconsistent with the previously established theme. Overall, not a bad episode. Some much-needed development for both Shiki and Touko. I still don't understand either of them, but at least we're headed in the right direction. 6/10 |

You're thinking about Blue, Aoko, her sister, she who only has one magic circuit but yet inherited the magic. In before I'm killed by Touko. |

How in the world would I know that at this point? I'm assuming you've read the novels, or else the 5th movie explains it. Besides, like sobzob pointed out, that sounds more like Aoko from Melty Blood/Tsukihime. Yes, I know. As weird I think the ability to "kill" appendicitis is (with a knife, no less), I'll take it in with the series. I'm just upset that she essentially committed suicide after they made an anti-suicide statement in episode 1. |
