THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

Wow, that was way too short.

However, amazing as always. I think the soundtracks are getting better with every movie as well. The BGM was great and I really gotta get my hands on the ED Theme.

So yeah, very nice episode. Judging from the preview of the previous movie, I thought this one could be my first 10 for a Rakkyo movie but it was just too short. Still, gets a very, very good 9/10 from me. I really want to see the next episode now.

Perfect.
Araya appearing after the ending theme nearly gave me a heartattack of excitement. Fuck yeah, George.

I don't know what else to say, so I'll just go with that I loved it as much as the other movies.

The insertion of the original scene of Shiki blighting the flowers was a nice decision. I expected longer descriptions of 「」, but maybe it's a proper length not to make it too wordy or boring.

Shiki's mom! wow she is so beautiful...
Honda-san's voice acting of switching Touko's personalities was awesome.
Mikiya's "Singing in the rain" was... um... a unique direction.

Nasu said an intriguing thing in the interview. The bizzare case in which Azaka got to know with Touko will be novelized or something. I CAN'T WAIT!

Wonderful movie, but my personal highlight will be the fifth movie. Araya in action <3

Another superb part in this series. Very emotional one, at that. Lack of action was a little disappointing but made up for with lots of development, and a great fight at the end.

Another great movie. It remained good after the excellent 3rd one.

It's good to see how things went 2 years after the 2nd movie. The last scene with the two finally meeting again was great. Art was especially good in this one. Next one is looking really awesome.

9/10 from me.

I agree on the music being great, but I think they are often using the same BGM over and over again. We already had most of the catchy pieces in previous movies. Not that it really matters, because they are really great, but I hope we will hear some new tracks, too, in future movies. The ED, though, is the best one right after the first.

It was awesome. My favorite part was when Mikiya sang Singing In The Rain, while Shiki almost died... so sad, but so perfects in a way...

Awesome, things feels like they are just about to begin. Loved Shiki in this, also the bgm and animation were great, always love that blue tint. Next movie looks intense, except for the when you kill people they die - look alike dude.

This part was not the best (the third one is, and I also prefer the second over this one) but it was still a very intense and fantastically well directed movie as always. The background art was especially perfect I think, as was the music. Nothing more though, it's by no mean the most impressive chapter of the novel and so the movie is following on its tracks: a slow but efficient flashback with nice character development.

Can't wait for Mujun Rasen now, which might be the best of the series (if it is on par with the novel of course). By the way, if everything goes well, the DVD should be released in approximately 3 months from now, and this fifth movie will be the first 2 hours footage of Kara no Kyoukai :)

Like everybody else said, the only complaint I have with this movie was that it was too short. :3 The BGM and art were, as usual, top notch.

And the next movie looks... just absolutely freaking awesome. Good thing that we only have to wait about a month or so.

And oh yes, people like this: http://myanimelist.net/profile/bendela piss me off. The last time they were on was October? And apparently they watched, dropped, and gave KnK 4 a score of 1 two months before it was ever released. And they haven't watched the first 3 movies. :| Yeah...

Makes me want to continue reading the book, but I hate reading. I've been put on the horns of a dilemma.

I'm glad they kept true to the novel so far. But, just like everyone, I'm unsatisfied with the length.
