| First episode, already liking this better than Urobuchi's other mecha show. I expected him to fall into the blackhole thing but it didn't ruin the fun, it's interesting to see how the water people reacted, I liked the part where that Pinion guy (I think, the blonde mechanic) said he couldn't know the writing, translation convention is involved but we do hear the foreign languages of both the Galactic Alliance and the water people. Ledo calling the water people savages because of the implied "holy shit" (sacramental excrement, among other profanity) was funny. Liking the island colony ship things like in Macross Frontier, and on a related note it kind of reminds me of orguss... |

| That was cool! The animation was really good. The soundtrack is pretty damn good. I'm liking the premise, hopefully it doesn't disappoint. |
| The first episode was pretty good, I like the plot so far. Seems different from your usual mecha show and the characters are interesting so far. |
| I just picked this up on a whim, and it seems to be really nice. The language barrier is also a nice touch, especially after finishing Black Lagoon. It will be interesting to see how the people of Earth handle the newcomers, as well as Also, Bellows and Ridget😫😫 |

| start was a bit too slow paced for me, but after he was thrown off orbit and woke up on Earth, the pace seemed to have picked up. |
