| Kotoura-san started off good. It was a nice and quirky comedy, if a bit perverted. Then it started getting dumber in the second half and the final murder arc was horrible with its overblown drama. You could've been so great Kotoura-san. 4/10 |

| 10/10 Probably cheap coming from me, having rated so many shows 10/10, but I really loved this show. The only disappointing part was the split-personality of the detective. I really wish they hadn't of resorted to that. Everything else though, I just loved~ I mean, they gave hints throughout that her mother really loved her and regretted what she did, so I'm lost why so many think it was just this moment that everything 'suddenly changed'. And Moritani, I always see many act like her change was too 180, but that was always her personality. The only barrier to Moritani becoming best friends with Kotoura was her jealousy, they actually already had a fair amount in common. Since Moritani wasn't treated the best when she was younger because of her abilities too. It could just be me, but nothing really felt rushed, or forced. And I'm also lost how there are those who are saying that the drama from the first episode wasn't in at all since then. It most certainly was throughout the show. And finally, Kotoura's having to deal with the same problem constantly. I feel like this is probably the most unfair observation being made. She's a human being, her entire life was spent being bullied, and losing people close to her because of her power. Of COURSE it would take her a long time to finally push off all that emotional baggage. I felt it was handled in a very natural way. On the contrary, the most popular thing is to have one thing happen, and BAM! Person is over their trauma. This show takes the less treaded route, and gets crucified for it. Anyway, that's enough defending this show. it was cute, it was hilarious, it was sad, it was heartwarming, heartwrenching, and just altogether a great story~ That is why I give this show a 10/10 Also, I do not want a second season. There's honestly no reason for one. it's all been taken care of. Another season would just bring on some new forced issues. Kotoura and Manabe are officially going out, Kotoura and her mom were finally able to make up, Moritani became Kotoura's best friend, Mifu finally got off her chest about how bad she felt about using Kotoura, and the New ESP society was formed. I really hope that we never see another season, because this is the way to end a show. |

| IT'S OVVVAA. Not bad. The mother make-up scene felt rushed. But I'm happy that it had a good ending. Still, it weirded me out that Kotoura would ask for relationship advice from the same girl who got denied by the guy she is going to ask out. That's an ass move. Even if she did mention that she was "sorry." If you were so "sorry" then you wouldn't have asked in the first place, you shit. 7/10 - 'cause it wasn't that bad and the first episode compensates for all the bad things |

| I honestly have to profusely apologize for vehemently defending this series in episode 1 and 2. Good lord, it really went downhill and the show did everything in its power to cheapen the only two passable episodes it had. I kept watching because I thought that it would pick up, but I was genuinely very, very wrong. I should have listened. 4/10, and that's generous. |

| I ended up really liking the show as a whole. There were a few episodes that were dumb, and the story of the split personality chick beating people was..stupid and to obvious. Other then that I enjoyed it. Last ep was good, liked seeing her mother with kind eyes, if only for a moment. Finally a show that properly ends with a confession. Not a typical fanboy harem BS where nothing gets solved. Except for Yuriko.. poor poor Yuriko |
| Great series with a great conclusion. The last few episodes had kinda slipped a bit but the last one more than made up for it. The scenes with her mother were heartwarming and the confession scene was one of the best ones I've seen for a while. 10/10 for the episode and 9/10 for the series as a whole. |

They adapted the beginning of the story greatly with much emotion and it felt just good, but then it was all lighthearted parts and 'eros eros eros' that was nice at first but repeated itself until the end. So in the end, it was a messy adaptation? I didn't know all of that because again, only 2 goddamn chapters are translated. It did feel like an anime original ending too, everything was resolved way too fast (Kotoura's mom, the romance, everything). And I found the art, the story,the characters, everything in those 2 chapters to be inferior to the anime. If it gets that good later on, then it should be worthwhile. |

| Wow, this ending was rushed as hell. Overall That was a very bad anime, the melodrama at the beginning was already mediocre, the rest of the serie was even more terrible with some horrendous writing. 2/10. |

| I'll give the show a 6/10. It started out with an interesting premise, but I couldn't stand Kotoura's woe is me attitude after the first few episodes, and Manabe's perverted jokes got old very quickly. Muroto was by far my favourite character. |

| Great ending. I'm going to forget that episode 11 ever existed. I still don't like the mother but I am glad we got to see her reaction to leaving her child. The love confession was sweet. |

Would of probably rated lower if I expected it to be near perfection. Not something I'd go to the shop especially to buy when it comes out on Blu-ray though. | I really liked the episode, and how it managed to rush the middle, and end without leaving me feeling like the show should not be over. Even thou they didn't have happy faces it was a fun and enjoyable moment during the pillow fight. I do wish they concluded the mother daughter conflict in another season or short ova. It was such a good show I can not help wanting more. 5/5 |

| I'm surprised to hear the disappointment with the show's direction. I was taken back by the start bc I judged the show incorrectly based on the description. It was a perfect example of don't judge a book by it's cover. Long story short, I really enjoyed it. The criminal part was a little lame but it served a greater purpose with their whole friendship building. Maybe a different method would of been more appropriate but I didn't hate it. Kotora was voiced perfectly by Hisako Kanemoto and complimented the hell out of that cute character. I liked it and was way better than my initial expectations. Cute, some good laughs, and heartwarming. 8/10. |

For me, the comedy was there, the constant teasing of the ESP group to Kotoura was amusing and for me Manabe's perversions were funny. I felt the comedy was well done. Drama, I think this is where a lot of people are dropping the score so far. I think a lot of people wanted to see a massive dramatic series like School Days, Mirai Nikki, or Another. There were episodes that focused around drama, in the beginning mainly, but even during the attacker arc, it didn't really feel dramatic for me. The most dramatic thing was Moritani being brought in and Kotoura being caught by the cop. Romance, I feel the romance between Kotoura and Manabe was well done. It was very blatant that they liked each other, the only thing that could have been better was a kiss. We also got a confession scene by Moritani and a look into Mifune's thoughts about Muroto. School, the setting was at a school, and did have a slice of life feel to it in some episodes. For me the animation quality was good enough, the story was enjoyable, the characters were very loveable, the opening song was amazing, the voices for the characters were good (especially Mifune), and I really enjoyed the show itself. For me, my rating mostly comes from my enjoyment of the show. I looked forward to seeing this every week and enjoyed it a lot, thus my score of a 9. If there was a kiss between Manabe and Kotoura, it probably would have been a 10 for me. |

| I thought Kotoura-san was a good series. Not great but not bad either. I actually liked some of the dramatic elements. My biggest beef with it is some of the things about this series seemed illogical. For example, if the girl can read minds (which is obvious), wouldn't it just be easier to tell her not to say what others are thinking out loud? A simple bit of parenting and poof, this doesn't become an issue. Then again, Haruka's parents don't seem like the sharpest tools in the shed. It was pretty solid for an AIC series. They don't exactly have a lot of good animes to speak of. I did enjoy Acchi Kocchi but that's not a groundbreaking anime. Just a pretty simple comedy that's good for a few laughs. |

| This isn't a "perfect" anime that I've seen this season, but it's really one of the best. It had such a strong beginning, then it went to the middle which was really nothing relating to the story. The whole investigation part about finding a criminal was interesting to see only to be disappointed at how it ended. But then this ending gave out the important parts of this show and it was portrayed in such a good way. It gave me a tear or two watching this episode but everything was resolved from this episode. Kotoura and Manabe are now officially a couple, the mother still cares for Kotoura T___T, Mifune and Muroto are like a couple.... (oh that means Moritani is forever alone :( ), and best of all we know Kotoura will have a great life with her friends by her side. I have to say this show has it's ups and downs, but it was exciting to see an anime like this. I've never seen an anime where you laugh ur ass off at one moment and then bawl out tears the next. I can't control my feels! Overall it's was good. Nothing that is like extraordinary from this anime, but I liked watching it. 9/10 |

Although I do not agree with everything you've said, you were definitely able to back them up with some facts and observations based on what you've watched rather than just a plain "oh, I like the series" from what that other guy has presented, or rather just stating some opinion. I agree that the show is pretty funny with the random gags and delusions that Manabe-kun has regarding those thoughts of Kotoura. In fact, I lol'd @ that several times. However, I'm not too sure on the romance, drama, and the other point you mentioned related to story. I felt that part was quite blend with the penultimate episode being a backlash of what the pilot episode presented. I also find the story to be a bit predictable and the thriller like suspense to be easily picked out. I won't go too much on the animation/sound since those can be covered in a review and I'm probably not going to review the series. Anyways, I've definitely got some respect for you on this post and some opinions on what you've thought of the show. |

| I give the episode a 8/10 and the anime a 7/10. Great start, but disappointing ending. Honestly the season was pretty good up until the police arc. Once the police arc started the anime went downhill. The way the police arc ended was just pathetic. 3-4 episodes trying to find a culprit and at the end the female cop turns herself in such a relaxed manner. Total waste of episodes in the police arc. Honestly it would have been much better to see Kotoura's mother character develop, and see more of Kotoura/mother. Good to see Kotoura back to good terms with her mother. During the credits we see Kotoura's mother at Kotoura's house again. She's eating in a blushing feeling i believe. |
