I so hoped that Pao would turn into, I dunno, something and would rescue the one-eyed one. Or that that young worker would at least take little one into his care. BUT FUCKING NO. And fuck this mercy killing.

Lol, I know right. I honestly thought Pao was going to transform and become White Fang. Then he didn't. I was disappointed.
