It's a big country with a very diverse culture. You can't expect the millions of people there to all think alike and have an "honourable" outlook. They might be a very traditional country, but technologically they're also the most advanced, so culturally there's a radical split between the two.

The pressure alot of Japanese kids get from their parents often turn teens into NEETs, hikikomori and otaku's who want to escape that pressure and hentai is an outlet strongly targetted at them.

But Japan is so full of itself. It thinks it's so clean and shit. Why would the government allow for this?! Didn't they just crack down on the morality of piracy lately? I think pornography is a more pressing issue, considering the narcissistic way Japan looks at itself.

Wouldn't it be better to just do indie porn shoots as I've said above? Why go to such lengths to set up a studio and hire all those people to make a hentai anime? Hell, why even convert hentai doujin manga into hentai anime? Why not just let it stay manga?

That's a example of the previous controversy surrounding Japanese pornography ethics (whether animated or not). End of the line is that Hentai makes money so they sell it. This is a stupid question porn makes money so people sell it. It's all the same whether animated or not in terms of "why".

Almost no one is "honorable" these days. Just because it was in the japanese culture to be honorable doesn't mean that is how it is now.
And I wouldn't say japanese girls are ugly. Some of them are very beautiful. You could say that any country's girls are ugly but there are sure to be some goddesses among the ugly ones.

Hentai is made because it sells. Simple as that. And some artist enjoy drawing and animating it. Some people prefer animated porn over real life porn. Hentai or animated porn in general has been going on ever since animation got started.

Using a continent that is mostly comprised of third world poor counties that don't have the means to create anime or hentai is not a good argument.
