THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- All right, looks like we got another double-header this week, and this episode makes up for last weeks melodrama with it's straight-up baddassery. The first part has that bleach-blonde Coffy-looking detective Atsuko continuing her investigation interviewing all the people the duo has met/screwed over over the past two months. The titular duo finds themselves in Oso where we see that the issues brought up in the last episode has not yet been resolved. Hatchin's anger at Michiko is manifested in her frustration that she had cheated the guy who fixed her motorcycle, but we know that's just an outlet for the real reason for her resentment. We then switch to a gang leader Satoshi Batista who goes around threatening to rape people's poopchutes with a Super Stick (rotflmbao!) if a recommended slot machine doesn't guarantee him money. But it turns out he isn't really the real Satoshi Batista when Michiko goes out looking for him. A rival gang led by Shinsuke associated with the real Satoshi traps the fake gang along with Michiko in a hotel and the only way out is to get to his destination by traveling non-stop on a specific series of trolleys. And he means non-stop since if they wait around, his minions will shoot them on the spot. While riding on one of the trains, Michiko notices Hatchin on another trolley, going god-knows-where. They finally reach Shinsuke who promises to keep up his end of the bargain. Problem is, Atsuko has already made a deal with the real Satoshi to lay a trap for Michiko for the police. End of episode. =============== Now this is what I was expecting: less melodrama, more mindless action. And that Shinsuke guy is a total psychopath. Almost gives Joker from Gotham Knight a run for his money. I guess the only complaint is that they broke up the plot they had going into multiple episodes, leaving me hanging and a little confused about the plot. Well, onto the next episode. Nice episode. The Tram game was interesting. The episode contained a good example of how awesome Michiko is when it comes to hand-to-hand combat. :P |

I liked this episode, very Die Hard, plus some loser posers...I'm getting tired of Hatchin's childish attitude thought. She can go somewhere else for all I care. |

Hmmm nice little game, but Michiko to Hatchin still lacks coherence and a true direction to deserve the praise it gets. Most secondary characters are strangely developped... noteDhero said: I'm getting tired of Hatchin's childish attitude thought. She can go somewhere else for all I care. I quite disagree with you, since the creators of the series make it clear thet the childish one is Michiko and the reasonable/level-headed/adult one is Hatchin. I like Michiko too, and that's her childish/random behaviour that makes her interesting :) |

Very funky episode. Looks like Michiko already started to change a bit thanks to Hatchin's words. She refused to hit that fake Satoshi after all. Looking forward to more. |

what! hatchin just left, thats crazy. imo she pisses me off as a kid. shes not level headed, she's too self righteous. i mean howmany times has she tried to be stuck up and its almost gotten her killed if it wasnt for michiko saving her ass. |

Don't expect her to know about these things when she's only 10 years old and has been living with disgusting people so far. |

Love Juices and Super Jesus, this series has some great lines. The tram game was very cool, and Shinsuke looks like quite a character. |

Pretty good ep overall. Some nice Michiko action, beating the crap out of some posers, but it could have been better. |
