A Rurouni Kenshin remake would be the best thing ever. When I heard that FMA was getting a remake that would follow the manga storyline, I thought, "Why don't we do this with Rurouni Kenshin?" We missed out on so many volumes and it'd be epic to use an epic storyline to match with current standards for animation. I wish too much... :[ Modified by limchi7, 12-09-08, 12:26 AM |

Indeed it would be epic. Some better animated sword fights would be awesome. And more of the manga included would be great. |

Here's the thing, I don't think Kenshin needs a remake. They covered up through the end of the Kyoto arc excellently in the anime. What we need is an anime picking it up and finally fully animating the final arc of the manga. Kind of like what Saint Seiya is doing. |

The Revenge Arc (That's what it's called, right?) was easily my favorite part of the manga. It's kind of cool how they got Kenshin's past with the Tsuiokuhen OVAs, but without being in the context of the story it didn't feel as good. |

I didn't mind the OVAs for what they were. Trust and Betrayal were very well done, Reflections... not so much. They showed Kenshin's story for what it was. On that note, though, I would like to see a make of the Jin-chuu arc as an anime. The so-called "Tales of the Meiji" were, let's face it, weak. They should have stopped with the story of Kaishu Katsu (after that, it just got all ridiculous). |

I wish too much... :[ RK remake granted!... like other RK fans I also wished for a RK remake just like FMA and DBZ, with the elimination of all those crappy filler arcs and the continuation from the manga the JINCHUU Arc . And out of the blue, just hours ago I came across a link to a site that confirmed " Rurouni Kenshin will get a New Anime." http://geek-news.mtv.com/2011/04/18/rurouni-kenshin-gets-new-anime/ and I'm happy. |

Please do not remake...just continue off where it derailed from the manga. Plato is my friend — Aristotle is my friend — but my greatest friend is truth |

That article makes no mention of a remake. It just says "new anime". All that anyone could want is the Jinchu arc, since the canon episodes were close enough to the manga. Just ignore the filler episodes. This likely would be similar to what they did with Inuyasha. The only reason FMA was remade was because it ended up completely different from the manga. And even in creating the remake they realized people didn't want to see the same crap all over again and zoomed through the canon parts that were in the original TV show, to get straight to the new parts. |

The battle scenes were done perfectly. I wouldn't want a remake, a remaster sure, but not a remake. Keeping the original OST of course |
