Who is your favorite idol?

| I'm sitting in between Honoka and Umi lol. I'll poll later depending on the poll results. Honoka - Her bright optimism with the charisma to pull it off without it becoming annoying. In one way, reminds me of Luffy. Umi - Down to earth and cool/elegant type of character. She resembles Mio a bit too much though, but more likable imo... Bonus : same voice actor as Kourin. ----- After much deliberation after the last episode, I ended up voting for Honoka lol |

| Maki > Niko > Kotori >> Rin > Eri > Honoka > Umi > Nozomi > poop > Glasses girl Niko has potential to be the best idol, but her "character change" has been quite one sided and therefore annoying so far. There's defintely room for her to improve, but well, same goes for Maki and Kotori of course. |

She became my favorite as soon as i saw the maracca part in the ED. She is so adorable! Kotori is my second. Obviously because of the photo bomb in the OP, and her "subtle" manipulation technique on Umi. |

| I was Umi all the way at first but now Maki is my favorite, looks, voice, personality. Still love Umi, Kotori, Nozomi... Honoka, Rin... Niko. It is a tough choice, tougher if we go 2.5/3D.. |

I just rewatched the dual BD live concert tonight and she is gorgeous and cute and has the best voice, no contest as I said. I buy BD where they have her event footage, Teekyuu is worth it for that alone, she is so funny on that one, and gdgd fairies too. Surprised the BTOOOM Disc with her Himiko event ticket didn't sell better than next to nothing. Sadly the weakest voices are Nozomi and Kotori. Poor girls are doing their best but compared to Mimori they are obviously not professional singers. Their performance helped to demonstrate that they were really singing live. Bibi is the best group live, Lily White second but they are pulled down by you know, even with Umi chan there. Umi had the best solo but too bad Soldier game and darling came out after the concert so no solo for Maki. Great concert, looked like a blast. I love the animated PVs but the seiyuu put on a real show. |
| I like all of them. A lot. But I like some girls more than others. 1. Nozomi - Well, she's motherly, smart, has a pretty cool "shrine maiden mystery woman" thing about her. And I can't forget this face:  I do agree her singing's not up to par with the rest of the girls, but I find her voice acting really fun to listen to. And also... her hair's awesome and her eyes match really well with her hair. 2. Eri - Skyrocketed to 2nd favorite after episode 9 and 10. She actually comes off now as a dependable senpai and a very good friend overall. She sort of feels like an improved but less serious version of Umi. She knows when to have fun and when to get down to business. Eri with her hair down is damn gorgeous. 3. Honoka - Endlessly positive, hardworking (even though she pushed herself too hard last time around), but her airheadedness and quirks are handled well. She's funny with the wide variety of faces and expressions she makes. 4. Rin - Her energetic personality and airheadedness complements Honoka and Nico as the comedic "baka trio." I also like her actual voice acting and her singing's not bad at all. And her catlike-ness? Good. 5. Nico - Hey look, the "baka trio" is in 3rd-5th favorite. I actually thought of placing Nico at 8th, but after remembering "Nico-Nico nii!" and her other funny moments, she gets a bump up. 6. Hanayo - I can't really say much about her personality, except that she's really shy but very passionate to be an idol and passionate about other idols. There's just something about her that makes her so adorable (e.g. her face at the idol shop) 7. Kotori - Also adorable and good as the middle-ground character among the founding trio. She looks really cute in the maid outfits and also makes great expressions. 8. Maki - I really don't know which girl goes higher after the first 5. So this is really more of a tie. Maki gets good development and slowly comes out of her shell. Her voice acting is well-done and matches her awkwardness. And she looks... really damn good. 9. Umi - Sort of in the same mold as Maki, but she's shy about being an idol, not really awkward. And like someone said, she is reminiscent of Mio. Maybe that's why it's hard for me to describe her. Pardon the ramblings, I just like this show a lot. XD |

Good. Well said. Exactly my thoughts. I've been drawn to Eri since episode 1, I dunno, for some reason, I liked her sense of authority. She came off as aloof and cynical but you know she's respected. I knew there had to be a reason why she acted that way. It felt like she was insecure, but the truth is she's really talented. She's mature and like Umi said, she has a good sense of reality in her. She has this sweet side to her that she's unable to show to others before, but thanks to Nozomi, she can very well express what she feels now and is actually enjoying what she does instead of doing stuff out of obligation. Now, watching her with a changed personality, makes her the unbeatable number 1 on my list. Her blonde hair, blue eyes and playfulness (I just know she can be the flirty type tee hee) are just added bonus. :3 Oh and the fact that her seiyuu is fripSide's vocalist is just amazing. Second to my list, Rin-chan~ XD This girl is just so random, I can't help but love her. Third for me will be a tie between Maki and Umi and the rest follows. :3 |

| I should add that the first live was February 2012 so Nozomi and Kotori may have improved since. They sound better in studio of course. Guess I'll have to scour youtube for more recent performances. |

| umi for 3d. just because in high school she wanted to be a singer or a backup dancer. and it just so happens that bushiroad president found her and offered a VA job. now looks like she gets the best of both worlds ;) |

| It was a toss-up between Kotori and Niko, but Kotori's scrapped song about macaroons tipped the scales in her favor because it was the most adorable thing I've ever heard. That said, Nozomi needs more love. She was the sweetest of sweethearts. |

| Ever since I've watched Bokura no Live Kimi to no Life, Kotori just stuck out to me for some reason. 'She was the one', I told myself and since then she's been my favorite - the anime only grew my love for her more :3. It's true, her singing is probably not the best compared to most of the other members, but she's still awesome in my book and her singing isn't really that bad. Maki is a close second, I'm not surprised at all that so many people like her character. A lot of the time I just want to poke fun at her character because she's so entertaining :D And I really love all of the characters - each have their own unique traits that have them stand out from one another. You really can't help but like them all <3 |
