| They parodied themselves WTF Not just themselves, but the stereotypes LOL There also seemed to have been quite a number of references I didn't get, most probably due to them being old. |

| One of the most hilarious episodes of Patlabor, rivaling Oshii's ones! The old man in the lab seemed like a parody of Moongaze Ginji from Red Spectacles Also, the way Noa was running away and losing breath was a self-parody of the alligator episode lmao I wonder what a real trip would have looked like :D |
