Seriously, first episode and she's already into the guy? Well, whatever. The dimensional travel part to Tokyo was funny. The action was meh though, hoping to see more of this. |

| The change in art style from universe was a little jarring at first but I got use to it. This episode was really funny from the black sheep of the Tenchi franchise I didn't know what to expect coming in but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. |

I wasn't fan of the change in art style either and i agree that at least the first episode didn't give me bad vibes. It feels different from Tenchi Universe but not in a bad way. If the following episodes are funny as this one then this show is as much of classic as the first show. |
| Y'know, throughout my years (almost a decade now) of being an anime fan and even longer being a Tenchi fan, this series tends to be the one I avoid. Like, I've re-watched most of the Tenchi stuff a good number of times, but I can't remember much 'bout this one so I'm willing to give it another shot lol. This was originally going to be a sequel to Tenchi Universe so it makes sense why all the waifus are already at Tenchi's house and aren't being introduced one by one like before. I do remember not being a fan of Sakuya. I generally just thought of her as a plot device with legs. The animation is a bit cute, and with it the slapstick humour is more prevalent. It's still anime, of course, but it also gives me Looney Tunes vibes |
