According to Kachidoki Studio, a new TV anime "Tenpo Suikoden NEO" was announced. Tenpo Suikoden official Facebook page Tenpo Suikoden NEO is based on the Japanese classic folktale "Tenpo Suikoden." is that...shoujo? that art style is so shoujo-ish. it HAS to be shoujo. wow...studios are still making shoujo anime after the shoujo sales disasters? Not to mention, Hiiro no Kakera, Arcana sold poorly...or Amnesia for that matter. It looks like it's gonna get bad sales as well. Man, people are still willing to risk it eh? Well as a big shoujo fan, I'm glad and I commend this studio for this. hmm...the studio looks like one which does short anime. Is this a short as well? Mmm.. I don't like historical animes, but I must be shallow enough to say that I liked one of the guys' characters so I'll watch.  I will turn you into junk. |

You know, alot of crap sells poorly and they still somehow animate it, i don't see why they shouldn't do the same with Shoujo, and trust me, the anime and manga industry are shit without shoujo, i'm just glad they are animating it to balance the weird crap they animate each season. |

Sounds interesting. I don't mind watching historical anime, whether it is shoujo or shounen, as long as it is done good. But with this little synopsis, sounds like shounen... or seinen.  |

I seen this and for some reason thought the game series Suikoden. I'm kind of disappointed it's not but this does look interesting regardless.      |

Not fond of the character designs, though the story seems interesting enough to check out a couple episodes. |

I love historical anime/manga! With girls, I bet there's romance too, gang fights with bishounen and bishoujo? I bet the girl is the daughter of the "okashira" XD The most underrated/unpopular webtoon around - Tower of God For those who want a good story, with action adventure genre, with awesome characters, setting, and world building, and a tiny bits hinted romance along with badass actions, do try out Tower of God, it'll be the best thing you ever read in your whole life till date! (am serious not exaggerating) :D |
