| The fact that it doesn't take itself so seriously for 80% of the show, really clashes badly with the all the bad shit that happened/happens to the MC. I say this as somebody who generally loves tonal shifts as well. |

| And just like that, Moritani is forgiven and Manabe was treated like a plastic bag, this shit ain’t right lol, even Moritani’s little comedic scene with Kotoura there kinda made me scowl, it is gonna be a rough next few episodes getting used to Moritani being part of the gang lol. I get that people change of course, but I think it’s mainly the fact she got off very easy and very quickly for a very very bad thing she did that bugs me, but I don’t get to decide who Kotoura or Manabe wants to forgive so it is what it is. And I know most people probably didn’t like grandpa, he was pretty sus but I did find his bit funny lol, perhaps he chooses to be that way since Kotoura would read his dirty thoughts anyway. And despite the Moritani stuff, I was very happy with the scene where Kotoura heard what Manabe was thinking while she was hiding, that was very sweet, we were robbed of a spanking tho lol. |

| i want to completely like this show, but... the grandfather, yeah. Who the hell thought it was a good idea to make him behave like that? i'll probably keep watching, with the wish of having fewer and fewer scenes with him at this point, and can understand why so many people have a hard time forgiving Moritani (even if i already did, regardless of the fact she objectively messed up hard). The message "people can change for the best" is nice even if handled as clumsy and a little too fast paced, but... whatever. |
