| Well, this is a really bad flop on their part. After a not-so-memorable (although I personally liked it) first episode, they're coming out with the second a whole year later. That's one way to screw your franchise and fans. Code Geass is already somewhat tempered by R2 in my opinion. They kind of needed to put more into this series. Now here's hoping at least the second episode will be good when it does come out. |

| Not really a problem with me, don't have much care for the movies in general, the entire thing feels recycled. Hell, I only just watched the first movie like last month. |

| Well that kinda sucks. They really should make the 'films' at least an hour long though. Waiting this long for 45 minutes isn't really worth it and would probably be mediocre. |

Yeah some people forget that the first episode technically hasn't even been released yet which by the time it comes out will mean a few months to the next episode most likely. Also no Sunrise isn't being lazy, they have tons of other projects going on and ones just starting up that certainly demand time from their CGI department to get going, just people think every thing in life revolves around what they want right the fuck now. The fact that peoples general reaction to this is news is to trash on the first episode shows just how much they really care about this franchise lol. It's an excuse to bitch is what it is and it's the internet to boot so the way I see it if you're interested you'll be willing to wait a couple extra months, if not you whine like a typical MALer. e: Actually no clearly it's being done solely out of spite towards you the person that is reading this message in particular. ;) ee: No seriously thanks for actually being a normal person and pointing these things out Kusaja. It's nice to know this franchise has other not totally batshit crazy fans that are in it for the fun still. I still haven't watched actually it since I plan to wait for the physical Blu-Ray release. I'm sure no doubt Sunrise anticipates viewers seeing that too at which point it'll be a couple months to the 2nd episode release and that'll be that. They've already apologized for the seasonal delay so I say shit happens so I guess I'm not a true anime fan or something for not raging out. Of course if this becomes a continual thing then the planning obviously sucks on the project, but that's to see in the future. |
