| I remember this being my favorite episode/fight in Afro Samurai. Especially like the track that plays when Gino and Afro's duel starts. Man, some of this gore is seriously too over the top for me now. When I first watched this, it was like "DAMN AWESOME!" but now it's just more sickening than anything. But I guess that goes to show how brutal the path of the headband owners is. I might drop my rewatch here, I can't really remember the final battle being anything better than this. |

| Cool backstory. I'm amazed Gino managed to survive even for that long, I guess his "revenge" made that possible. Black_Jack said: It seems to me that Gino was over-reacting. | I like how they transition to flashback then back tot he present. Sometimes it's too much but some other time, it's seamless. The backstory itself was better than expected. Afro's hatred is really affecting him though. Even when he's a teenager, he already looked like a middle-aged man. Seems like the nigga black ninja is nothing but Afro's imaginary friend... |

| The story of the protagonist's past, childhood and youth were very well done and had a lot of impact. I also think that that Ninja that accompanies him must be something imaginary that only he sees. |

| It was a depressing episode. And it seems that Ninja Ninja is an imaginary friend, that's why he's so noisy. The glasses guy was kinda funny, it was quite sad to see him die. |

| This episode was alright imo, I ended up getting kinda bored in some parts but it was alright. I have to bring up Jinno's voice though lol that voice does not match that dude at the end And it turns out Ninja Ninja was all in Afro's head this whole time? I guess that does explain a few things |
