Hey, any of you guys in Dallas (and surrounding areas) know of any clubs that read manga/watch anime on a regular basis and that a 16 year old could be a part of? I really want to join/start a club but none of my friends at school like anime or manga. :(
I'm back.

I live out in Plano and have been searching, but I haven't found an actual club except maybe a school club. I am 26, yeah i know thats old, and haven't found a club where just anyone can be a part of. There are high school clubs and college clubs, but if you find a public club please post it.

You could always talk to your school or local library and start one up. Also if your school or a nearby school offers Japanese, that would be a good place to look.

The only club in the area I'm really aware of is the Mu Epsilon Chapter at UNT.

My public library (Park Forest) hosts an anime club aimed at teens where we meet once a month to watch anime. Though our choices are quite slim because we get our DVDs from Funimation's Operation Anime program.
