THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

Why are the gargoyles and the skull with the opposing group's initials on it both part of the royal family's chapel. It gives me the creeps and makes me wonder if both were formed by the family.

Very possible. Is Durand to be trusted??

The king appearing at the end.... very interesting! There must be many important things at stake.

I don't trust Durand at all - he seems to know a lot about Lia and her behaviourisms, which implies that he spent a lot of time with her, fighting the same cause, yet he's alive and she isn't. That really raises the suspicion levels for me.

Lia is awesomely bad ass, though I would love to see more flashbacks of her when she was alive, being the 'big sis'.

My favourite part of the entire episode in terms of wtf was when D'Eon was throwing the books from the shelf onto the fire just behind him. He has no survival skills whatsoever.

The cutting of the fingers was pure awesomeness.
I have no idea what's going on though... I feel like the old guy will die in the anime though.

Haha, Robin's look at Durand after d'Eon said that Lia was inside his body was priceless.
Durand, you sly guy! You can never leave this guy alone. I like the conflict and excitement he's bringing to this show. I just hope he never gets boring.
