| I'm watching this anime in English dub. At first, I thought his voice was a little ridiculous, but now I realize it's appropriate for this kinda anime. It's silly and his voice is silly. It's growing on me. lol "Study, study, study, study" |
| Holy crap the English dub is amazing. It's not "good" per say, as something I'd compare to something well-directed or staffed, but goodness gracious does it have charm and personality. Don't get me wrong though, this is stupid. Like, chasing someone on the playground with poo at the end of a stick stupid, but I haven't seen an anime have so much fun with itself in a long, long time. |
| The English dub is so over-the-top with Kentaro's purposely bad performance it's amazing. "How educational!" *boss lady turns around, boobs jiggle* "I know those..." That was hysterical. "C-base?! Is that like third base?" They really should've had a backup of their software on somewhere that wouldn't disappear upon an accidental unplug? I could've really just quoted the majority of this episode here. Great episode. |

| It was okay, actually probably better than what I was expecting. Ended up watching it dubbed and wow, Kintaro's voice actor is having entirely too much fun in his role. That's not necessarily a complaint mind you, but I do think it's fitting for this type of series. My favorite part of this episode was probably the, albeit ridiculous, ending twist that Kintaro is like a genius with a heart of gold. Admittedly, seeing as that was my favorite part of the episode, it's a little worrisome going forward, you know they can't pull off that twist more than once and have it work. Regardless, I found some of the animation faces pretty amusing, not the detailed close up ones but the more far-away ones, like when Kintarou gets hit by that mop in the locker-room. |

| This was a pretty great first episode. Surprisingly, a bit extreme in fetish content. Does the 'golden' refer to something sexual I wonder... Can't get over how the girls in the office remind me of the gals from You're Under Arrest... |
| Getting knocked over by a scantily-clad woman who got gravity-defying knockers and receiving a million yen while she acts high and mighty is already miraculous enough but ending up working with her and a couple of lovely women is a learning experience one doesn't normally encounter in a lifetime. Kintaro catching the president's spit with his mouth was hilarious. He's a cheeky degenerate dense pervert but that only scratches the surface of his true nature. He accomplished in making a more intuitive program in roughly a week after asking the girls how they did it and that was impressive. He's a roaming Jack of All Trades with a heart of gold looking for new things every day and that's awesome. |

| Kintarou has got his own philosophy there I see, so cool and nice. I thought it was gonna be another "prison school" type of thing, guy simping for a girl, always doing silly things... but this OVA looks cool, enjoyed the first episode. |

| Was already expecting MC to be a fetishist pervert. I wasn't expecting him to be this cringey tho. Also, sure. MC never interacted with a real PC before but is able to re-write an entire software in a week or so. Software that took 3 months in being developed by a whole team of professional women. |

| Rewatching, bought the dvds in 2007 after discovering its existence in early 2002 (on italian MTV of course). I'm still very attached to this show because it has a once in a lifetime combination of italian voice actors from both Milan and Rome cities that probably never happened after. The one for Kintaro Oe is mostly famous here for Milhouse from the Simpsons and often he slips back into that character in his more pervert moments, and that's what makes him even funnier. "kids today are stronger with words than with facts"... Madame, you're lucky that you're in the mid 90's, you don't want to time travel to present day. Why... Why did he immediately jumped to conclusions about the letters meaning? Well, at least he avoided to be discovered in the lockers room, i wrongly remembered the opposite after so many years. All the staff members were so patient and, somehow, they were rewarded. It's refreshing to return to Golden Boy, i also had forgot how he solved the bike store owner money problem subplot, but instead always remembered how sweet is the ending theme. |
