Monogatari Series: First Season
| Where should I start with these, is bakemonogatari it's own thing or is it a sequel/prequel to nekomonogatari or nisemonogatari? I have confused myself. |

| Bakemonogatari is the first adapted series. Then comes the sequel Nisemonogatari. Released a few days ago is the prequel to the first series, known as Nekomonogatari: Kuro. Kizumonogatari will be the latest release, a prequel to even Nekomonogatari. As (almost?) always, the proper viewing order is by air date. |

| Start with bakemonogatari. If you want chronological order do what nil said. |

| For airing order. Bake => Nise => Neko for chronological Neko => Bake => Nise. While I usually watch things in chronological order, for Monogatari series, it'll actually make more sense if you watch it in airing order. The style they adapt the story keeps changing, it gets lewder and lewder, and the characters gets more.... sexual, fanservicey. if you watch it in Chronological order, you might be confuse about the consistency flow of animation/comedy style. |
