| The only thing left to the manga is the Eromungand specials that haven't been animated. Those are just at the end of every volume a page or two of comedic relief. E.G; Karen, Chequi, Valmet, Koko playing mahjong with random boob comments. There is no more story left for a third season. The anime followed the manga faithfully 100% of the way. A chance of a 3rd season pertaining to the canon is 0% unless the author does a sequel manga. |
| So the manga ending just like in the anime? I thought there was more... like Crysis3000 said, I feel the ending is missing something, I thought it was like an open ending. |

| Wait that was the end? I've been waiting for a third season this entire time. Seriously? That was a very disappointing ending then. Is what I was going to say. I just rewatched the last episode and I must have misinterpreted a lot of things or was doing something else while I was watching it 2 years ago because I don't remember the episode ending like that at all, but I remember Jonah leaving Kasper so I'm sure I watched it. Before I just rewatched it, I didn't know Koko launched or even activated jormungand so I thought the third season was definitely going to come. And it'd be about her launching Jormungand into space and having governments try to stop her. But now that I know she activated it, I can bump this up from an 8 to a 9 considering this was a damn good series and that was a good ending; originally I thought this was a bad ending but that's entirely my fault for misinterpreting it. Sure I would have liked to see the world maybe 20 years into the future to see how it all progressed, but I think an open ending is totally fine for this show. |
