Well, I feel like this show has wasted my time. -__- An average series at best, IMO.

Tempted to give it 4, but I'll stick with 5 for the time being.

The most stupidest episode in this whole series! It's like two million steps back! What the hell? Nagi says and she just takes it and runs and omg Yamato hates me blah blah!

And then Yamato lets his half pint run of a sister take his phone but finds his balls when it rings and snatches it from her? And then he gets his underwear in a bind when he thinks Mei is cheating on him.

What the hell kind of bullshit was this episode?

The writers wanted to make one last final attempt to have someone come between them since Megu is over her self and it has to be the sister and we thought she got her jealously over and done with in episode four but no she is still a bratty ass brat!

Oh my god why are all these winter animes having suck ass endings? Good god!

Never read the manga but this last ep. sure felt like it would have had a better place as an OVA. Though overall, good show.

Not bad I suppose. I really get frustrated at the characters sometimes watching them turn a little issue into a huge problem. I face desked when I saw Yamato run past Mei while she was looking away.

That aside, I'm going have to agree to some extent Hachiko couple post up. I really feel like this episode just detracts from all the progress made throughout the story. They spend all this time building up this relationship, just to watch the two scramble and panic at the thought of the other being made at them. Not really a sign of a strong relationship, imo.

In a way it's realistic I suppose, anyone who has ever been in a relationship before has probably experienced what Yamato and Mei went through.

I'm not a big bishounen fan, I love Kimi ni Todoke, because I could empathise with Sawako's character.

But I've notice nearly all the series this season are really dark in nature apart from this and Tonari.

Even Hayate was so skewed from it's norm that although a clever story, it sort of closed the door on itself for being a12 part nightmare sequence. And To Love-Ru, well what can I say?

So I actually ended up thinking this was ok, I won't read the manga, as I don't have time, but I'm sure it'll spawn a lot of copy cats. A nice story as a whole, and you can't help but wish them all the best.

So for me, for something to lighten up the day, it's this or Tonari (which my 13 yo daughter liked better)!

Loved the last episode. Even though it didn't wrap up anything, but it was a nice end to the season. Hope to see more of this someday.

I think the last episode pretty much did wrap up everything.

12 would of been better to go out on maybe but I see why 13 was the closer. All the drama was gone between the characters. Everyone was satisfied with their relationships with their significant other or friends. Our main couple never really took it to the next level since they both are still fairly insecure when distance is between them but can't be helped. Charming love story in the end. 8/10

I'm a bit disappointed in how this show ran aground after a decent beginning. For me, it probably started around the whole modelling piece. I probably stopped taking it seriously around episode 7. Scenes like the one in this episode, where Mei was doing some stalking, skulking, and spying but somehow she missed Yamato running past her. And of course, he didn't notice her. As he leapt over the wall, I started thinking to myself, what if he doesn't see her? But I stopped myself because that would have been too stupid. But then it happened.

The weird thing about this show is that it kept up this Abbott and Costello routine but smothered it with tears and moaning instead of laughter. It gave it a very awkward feeling. Currently, it's a 6 but I may drop it to a 5 after I think about it some more.

Someone else mentioned how a number of this season's shows tailed off badly. After the first couple of episodes, I quite liked this show, Tonari, OniAi and Sakurasou but all of them wandered off somewhere not especially good. Sakurasou seems to be coming back but none of the others really lived up to their potential.

This anime was good, but it still missed a few pieces from the manga though, but I forgot a little bit because I read the manga a long time ago before the anime was released.

Anyway, I liked the ending, but episode 12 would have been better. I wouldn't mind a season 2 though.

7/10 for the series!

Mei is so 'dorable! Great episode and loved the way how they overblown the setting for her to finally tell Yamato that he is the one for her! And with that, another shoujo anime ended.

Nagi and her classmate looked lovely together!

5/5 for a sweet episode.

Good to see that all the characters appeared for the final episode (even though episode 12 was the real final episode.) for the final time. Because I don't think there will ever be a second season, but oh well! loved it for the majority of the anime so I would say it will get an 8/10 from me overall.

This has been by far the best shoujo season in years.
Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun
Kamisama Hajimemashita
Sukitte ii na yo.

All of them will be missed (even though I have reasons to believe Tonari will be getting an S2 pretty soon!).

lol those were some cute co-incidences...Loved this anime.I still remember that time when I came to know that there are going to be 3 shoujo anime this season & I was overly joyed but due to bad connection I was unable to come online for 1 & half month.

Only I know how I spent that time, away from anime but when my connection came back,I was so happy!!!!!!& then I was able to watch this & other anime out there.

I don't why I am sharing this with you.I guess because this season is ending. For me this was the most dramatic season. While it may not be this dramatic for others:D

Loved this anime.Loved mei & now I am ready to read the manga..yay!I hope it gets a 2nd season.9/10!Definitely want a 2nd season.

The series was great, it was fun and light hearted and was just enjoyable. The ending however, did nothing. It was a pretty much empty epsiode and really, we never got to see her say "I love you" sure it flashed up in the end but it wasn't done justice. The whole anime was about that moment and it was a complete flop if you ask me. Do I still like this series? yes. Do I like it better than the manga? No. But hey, that's just me.

Also, it ended so abruptly. Another one of these anime where you gotta read the manga...

You're not alone. Watching it wasn't a torment for me, but then it wasn't really awesome. I prefered Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, Sukitte was too emo for me and the couple of Mei and Yamato seemed so forced.
I won't discover America with this one but yeah, they should have episodes 12 and 13 swapped, it would feel more "endingy".

WHAT THE FUCK KIND OF LAST EPISODE WAS THAT?
UGH, MEI AND HER TRAIN OF THOUGHT IS SO GOTDAMN ANNOYING.
NAGI WAS ANNOYING. YAMATO WAS ANNOYING. WTF??

But when I change view of this ep as it being an "EXTRA," then all's good :D
I still "disliked" it though. This episode was shit. Most likely the manga is A LOT better.
The only thing I liked was the "Say 'I Love You'" bit. The End.

The mom deserves something btw. She's awesome. She might end up on a date in the manga, idk. Idek if I'll take the time to read the manga though. I'm already about to hop on that Kamisama Hajimemashitaaaaa ~

To the first comment, that's what made Sukitte Ii Na Yo's "last episode" so terrible. The unbelievable predictability in this.

To the second comment, I completely agree. Those anime had so much potential, including SAO and Magi. I'm surprised I actually finished SAO, but I'm contemplating on dropping Magi. Except Tonari though. That series was decent to me.

I thought it was a cute and fluffy episode, but not really fitting for a last episode. Episode 12 felt more like a last episode than this did.

Overall, this was an okay anime. I didn't care for the characters as much as the other shoujo this season and it was pretty cliche. Of course, cliche and gooey shoujo is my guilty pleasure, so I didn't mind as much as I'm sure some people did.

This episode sucked balls. Frustrating all through the end. I give this show 8/10 because I liked it a lot and I thought the romance was sweet, but the characters make too little progress imo. Mei is still insecure and extremely shy and Yamato still doesn't trust her. .____. It's a pity, it would've been even better if we actually had had a scene in which Mei tells Yamato she loves him.

A really nice show and a funny episode as an ending. I really laughed during this episode but I must say that it was not the best choice for an ending episode.
And she didn't say "I love you" straight to his face, I won't count the last words this the scene wasn't shown. Maybe it was another one of Mei's thoughts?

I would be glad to see another season, according to what I read in other comments in the last couple of threads there should still be enough stuff to put in and then the fact that it's still ongoing :P

But what I really can't understand is my people still keep crying over anime adaptions. There are a couple of choices: You can accept that anime adaptions will probably never satisfy you if you want a perfect anime or maybe something that is even better than the original source.
Or you can stop watching anime adaptions of mangas/novels/games you really like because you will mostlikely be disappointed (because it seems like too many people have too high demands).
Well, or you just don't read mangas, but I guess if you like mangas that's not possible. :)
But honestly, reading so much flaming in almost every anime adaption is really annoying, so I hope people think about it.. but that probably won't happen ...

Anyways, 9/10.

Meh. Episode 12 definitely felt like an actual ending. This episode felt like it dragged on. Then it just ended.

Him: She had my cellphone.
Her: It's okay. *zooms in on shoes*

I have 6 older siblings, if any of them answered my phone and pulled that kind idiotic garbage - I'd smack them upside the head. That girl Nagi was a total jealous brat. I understand she's an animated kid, but that ticked me off.

All in all, this series had potential. But it pulled off every shoujo cliche it could manage. Mei's character was relatable at points - but after a while I grew tired of her. Her character improved, but I didn't feel like her relationship with Yamato even truly developed. Sure, they went through a lot of misunderstandings. But that's what every episode was about: a misunderstanding. If it wasn't about a misunderstanding, it was about some random person suddenly appearing and having feelings for either Mei or Yamato. Overall score: 6 out of 10

Nagi was annoying and clingy. She caused the whole misunderstanding between Mei and Yamato.

Poor Yamato had to run all over while he was sick. At the end, he still didn't get a confession.

Mei needs a little more courage. I was hoping she would go inside Yamato's house with Nagi's classmate, and finally confess.

Having characters crying while the audience facepalms doesn't make for a quality show.

I found SAO kind of bland. The villain in the second arc was certainly unpleasant but wasn't really impressive. Tonari was decent but I thought that it slipped after a good start. The last few episodes seemed to have Shizuku coming to a new realisation each episode but not much else. And while Natsume obviously saw something in Mi-chan, I haven't a clue what it was. Don't think they ever really tried to develop it. As with some of the characters in this show, she seemed to wallow in depression too much. After the first few episodes, I came to enjoy Kamisama more. It had probably the least strong start (but still decent) but never faltered as the others did. I hold out hope for Sakurasou however.

I laughed throughout the episode. Laughed because of the unbelievable stupidity and number of misunderstandings. At least it had Kai and Megu appear, so it was bearable. Overall a 7/10 score because there are better shoujo series out there.

If Yamato can "read Mei's mind", then how can there be so many damn misunderstandings?
Kai is the only person in the series with a brain.
I was so unbelievably disappointed with this ending, I feel like screaming.
-dropped from a 9 to a 7 after this, just because I did enjoy it at the beginning. And I think I'm being a bit generous here.
