Clannad or Clannad: AS didn't make me cry. Didn't even feel a twinge.
who gives a shit? Your supposed to be saying times you did

Anyhow the times i have cried in an anime were when i was younger and probably could have held it in now without much of problem, but i did for these series

rahXephon - episode 19(youl know the scene im talking about if you watched this show)
Clannad AS ep 16
tokyo magnitude 8.0 - final episode cause it hit a bit close to home minus the supernatural elements

Sad taste you have there kid you came up to me in the first place making you look more like a kid who got slapped without me even knowing it and start crying about it to me

I'm about to finish my first time rewatching these series. I can't say anything but it's way more emotional if you see this the second time. I actually took record in which episodes I shed tears.

Clannad episode:
7, 8, 9 (Fuko arc)
13, 14 (Kotomi arc)
22

After Story episode:
6, 8, 9, 12, 13, 16, 18

I'm not yet finished, but I'm pretty sure I will cry every episode till the end.
That'll make 18 times. Talking about being someone emotional. :')

It's not only the times which were sad when I cried, also the heart-warming moments were very touchy.

The only time I cried with Clannad at all was during the cat arc. It was the same way in the VN for me. The main arc is fine, but the cat arc is by far the most emotional and well written part in the entire story.

And I even cried in Tomoyo and Kyou's specials.

It's not an anime but Tomoyo After VN I think that beat them all.

I rarely cry ever, but man this made me cry like a baby! watching ep 16-20 i think left me crying so hard and so much that as soon as i stopped (end of ep) move onto next ep start crying pretty much (had to stop watching because i could no longer cry anymore and felt i was losing the emotional impact).

Intense crying there... I find it hard to be able to cry that much again!

For those that said u didnt cry then u r truly cold hearted Im not saying u had to ball it but tearing up is better then what u few r saying

that aside

Clannad
Fuko Arc
Kotomi Arc

After Story
When everyone put together the Graduation for Nagisa since she had to miss hers
The dad part alittle bit
But the majors are

Nagisa's death(A large part bc she didnt even get to hold Ushio) but the whole thing though
The sunflower field
Ushio's death

When the rebirth of Ushio where Both live and they had the life they should have

I loved this series I am like others where I have never cried in an anime so when i started to watch this anime i wasnt thinking oh time to cry to be honest i didnt know I had ready what it was about but i didnt want to spoil to much for myself so now that i have finished the anime I do love this series it did make me sad but i was glad at the end though.

From the episode Nagisa died, I cried every episode until the last one. Hell when she died, I couldn't even watch the opening song for like the next 3 episodes because I would start crying, and I love the opening! The worst though was probably when Tomoya was remembering Nagisa on the train when Ushio asked him about her. I'm a grown man and I was bawling like a damn baby. Loll kind of funny. Even know listening to the opening and reminiscing, I tear up a bit.

It might be easier to count how many times I *haven't* cried.
I'm a bit of a crybaby at the best of times, and anything that deals with strong feelings of loss is usually more than enough to get me going. (sigh)
That being said, I made the huge mistake of watching the movie first, and knowing how it ended has cast a pall over After Story to such an extent that I start getting misty when the credits roll. (told ya I was a crybaby ;))

I was actually beginning to feel a bit better watching it because I'm at episode 11, where things are going well, and the movie is sufficiently different than the series that I was beginning to hope it would differ on that one, crippling point, but as I quickly scanned over this Topic, I saw something that tells me it's not to be.
Needless to say, I started crying immediately.

People need to spoiler stuff like that. T_T

Even rewatching these scenes again I get a bit teary eyed.

Once. And that was because my money was given to a man while I was walking my dog and I watched it afterwards, and I realised that the man I gave money too wasn't really poor, so I realised that my money was stolen from me.

Other than that, none. After Story didn't get a tear out of me. Forced melodrama doesn't do it for me sadly.

This is the only anime I cried in. It's probably because I put myself in Tomoya's shoes, and it made me feel so bad for him. Losing everything and becoming hopeless sounds so horrible.

When Tomoya was sad that he will graduate with out Nagisa
When Nagisa died
When Tomoya kept thinking about Nagisa (In the train, when he was playing cards)
When he started singing the Dango song to Ushio and had that dream
When Tomoya's grandmother was telling him about how his dad raised him
When he finally made up with his dad

and many more....but dont wanna sound like I'm emotional XD

In clannad AS.. hm...
Well to be honest I watched it like 2 years ago so my memory isn't super clear.
Keep in mind I was 18 back then, I'm also a dude so I'm not huge on crying..
Didn't really cry.
I would label it as "tearing up" or rather "pissing through my eyeballs"
The most memorable moments for when i cried:
1.(5 dif times this episode I think) Ep 18 where they talk about the dad and ushio loses the toy and says she wants it because daddy bought it. I was just finished at that point, had a role of toilet paper and it was gone by the end of the episode.
2. When Nagisa/Ushio died.
3. When he hugged the dango pillow, and whenever that freaking dango song plays.. Or when he sung it to his daughter I think.. My eyes always got watery...

Idk I've probably pissed through my eyeballs roughly 10 times through the after story.

EVEN THE OPENING AND ENDING BECAME EMOTIONAL ONCE NAGISA DIED. YOU WOULD JUST SEE HER AND BE LIKE FML.

Lol I hate this show so much. Where did all my bodily fluids go. I cried like fucking three times in ONE EPISODE once. Wtffff Clannad WHY YOU SADISTIC WRITERS.

I cried a lot in After Story. I cried a bit in Clannad, but After Story got me in Sunohara's arc itself. The only one I didn't sob for but teared up a little was Misae's.

Nagisa's death.
Ushio's and Tomoya's scene in the field (crying in daddy's arm).
Ushio's death.
Tears of happiness in the end because I marathon'd it so I went from sad to happy but still tears rolling down my eyes. I was an emotional wreck afterwards.

1st time watching it, I cried at the "It was papa's first" line for about 3 minutes settled down for a minute then when Tomoya's tears burst, cried again for about 3 minutes.

Re-watched the whole series after 2 years, cried again at those lines.

Though I think those were the only parts where I actually cried, the Tomoya vs. Sunohara part almost but no...
