Longest Marathon?
| Being that you're on MAL, chances are you're an anime addict. And I'd go further as to say it's very unlikely that you only watch one episode at a time. So what is your guy's longest marathon of episodes? What Anime(s)? My longest prior has been Claymore episodes 8-26 in a single sitting, but I think I topped that today by watching the entirety of Accel World, episodes 1-24, and the OVA in a marathon. DEFINITION: In this instance, Marathon is defined by watching X episodes over Y amount of time, where there are no breaks exceeding 1 hour. |

| Code Geass, 18 episodes in a day. I usually watch averagely 4 - 8 episodes per day so that 18 episodes a day was the longest marathon I ever had |

Side note: I remember something else I actually spent around 14-15 hours in Strawberry Panic! but that is because I took a small break during the last few episodes, so I suppose I wouldn't count it as a marathon. |

| Over the summer, when most of my anime watching takes place, I was watching somewhere between 12-16 episodes of some series a day. I watched all of the Kara no Kyoukai series in just two days (granted it's only about 10 hours or so). |

| I really, really can't marathon. I get bored if I watch more than six or so episodes of one thing in a day. The closest I've ever been to marathoning a series would probably be Angel Beats in two days. |
| Over 30 for sure. Can't really be considered a marathon without making you tired after you are done =P |

| My longest was probably 24 because I remember watching all of Higurashi Kai in one sitting then looking at my clock and thinking to myself "did I really just sit here and watch Higurashi for like 9 hours?" |

| I Once watched all of Higurashi(original Series+Kai+Rei+Kira etc.), Nisemonogatari and the second season of K-On! in one very, very long and weird sitting. The dreams i had the days after that were just hilarious. On another occasion i watched all of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei in one weekend. Oh, the headaches! Yeah and last year i re-read all Detective Conan chapters(about 800+) in one go, sacrificing about one week of my spring break. You could say, i love marathoning. |

| I finished Season 1 and 2 of Hidamari Sketch along with the specials in a day. So that's about 30 episodes. I watched all of Strike Witches in a day (24 episodes and the movie) and I have no regrets at all. It was amazing. I just couldn't stop watching. I felt really sad when I was done. Oh well, I guess I can rewatch it. Plus there's Vividred next season and Season 3 of Strike Witches soon after that. I also marathoned Evangelion when I had a sick day. Biggest mistake I've ever made. It was the most depressing experience in my life. Thankfully I felt a bit better when I marathoned Steins;Gate the next day. Okabe's antics cheered me right up. Other than that I can recall marathoning Madoka Magica, Bakemonogatari, Clannad (Just season 1), Cowboy Bebop, Beck, Gurren Lagann, Durarara, Baccano and Oreimo. |

| Marathoned at least 60 episodes of Bleach. I've also watched multiple series' back to back in marathon sessions that easily topped 50 episodes. I'd say around 70-75 anime episodes is my longest. I'm going to do a 100 episode run in the near future, soon as I can get the time. |

| -+ 50 episodes is the best I can watch in a free day (without skipping/fast forward it!). I marathoned Gintama (200+) in less than a week. I also marathoned Prince of Tennis series (PoT, Shin PoT, all OVA, movie, specials) in a week, FMA:B also in 2 days, oh and Katekyo Hitman Reborn in less than a week. As long as I love the anime, I can watch it all day ^_^ |

| Marathon'd all 64 episodes of FMA: Brotherhood over the course of two days so approximately 32 episodes per day. There are other shows that I've marathon'd, but this one springs to mind. |
| I marathoned only recently Mawaru Pengiundrum for the third time + Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san (inc. ova) which is around 30something episodes. |

So in his 24 days a 'normal' person who's on vacation or something can watch around 720-768~ episodes. |
