| Yeah! A return to AKB0048 feels so good. The performances, the songs, the plot, the "to be next stage" and the return of Nagisa's soft voice. I have high hopes and expectations of this series so I was damn happy it's continuing. Great stuff from the start, I think the CGI has improved this time. I didn't feel that awkward disparity between the hand-drawn scenes and the 3D computer animated ones. Visualisations of the collapsing staircase were great and it went straight into the meaty plot of the general elections and more importantly, the center nova position. Good cliffhanger, I'm getting bad vibes from Chieri's father. Looking forward to watching what the OP and ED will be like next week. |

| The 2nd season starts with some bangs. I am sure not so many people would have guessed they would start the season with members being captured and brought to trial !! All these made the 2nd season even more entertaining compared to last season right from the beginning. They even managed to squeeze in 3 AKB songs in the episode, apart from the new OP/ED ! |
| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |
| Holy crap did things get intense fast. First, they announce the return of the Center Nova position and the General Election, and the next thing we know three members are captured and they go on a retrieve mission. What a great start to the new season. Hmm this election thing is going to be interesting and I can already see a lot of drama arising from it :/. Nice bath scene too :D. |

| (rewatching) OMG I love this anime so much! Three full songs... Epic action... Setup for the season with the general elections and the return of the center nova position =D LOL the court sentenced them to 48 years. Edit: 2014-05-13, 3rd time watching and I don't like double-posting so I'll edit... I want to ride that rollercoaster! This season starts off with a bang. At least as exciting as the finale of the first season. Pioneer yo! |
