When stuff happens like this, it makes sense that some people think of this as The Crunchyroll Thread. I didn't miss the indirect confirmation of an AoD simulcast, but I don't want to add anything that isn't directly confirmed, and so far...that's just CR. I just get this strange feeling that there will be one season where I make this topic like usual but only CR announces anything. |

At least everything I'm at all interested in has an entry on animecalendar.net with a TV broadcaster listed. Modified by jmal, 01-03-13, 12:44 PM BUY YUYUSHIKI BDS ALL DAY EVERY DAY |

Unfortunately a lot of my most wanted going to services I won't use (TAN, Funi) is quite likely. Most of the ones they're a lock for don't air until next week. BUY YUYUSHIKI BDS ALL DAY EVERY DAY |

Yeah, I expect most of the heavy hitter series (Vividred, Tamako Market, Sasami-San and the like) will go to others instead of Crunchy. At least Oreshura going to Crunchy gave me hope that Vividred might. ![]() |

Here's hoping the third title of the day will be one that I'm both interested in watching and that is available for me to watch. The first two don't really do anything for me. |

Hakkenden is a five day delaycast. It's publisher is Bandai Visual so that's interesting. Looks like there may only be 1 announcement tomorrow. |

Well, figured that would be one. So far, this season is (for me) one major title, one minor title, I think two "guess I'll try it" titles and the some shorts I don't expect a lot from. Not impressed as yet. BUY YUYUSHIKI BDS ALL DAY EVERY DAY |

I've been eyeing Cuticle Tantei Inaba and OreShura, and CR got both. I'm satisfied for this season. And, as an added bonus, they got Seitokai no Ichizon Lv.2? Damn skippy I'll be rewatching it while it airs. Yama no Susume looks... interesting... so I'll give that a try too. Overall, not too bad of a season from the looks of it, but not too great either. |

And I continue to be unimpressed by this lineup. It's not that I won't watch most of these shows, and I'll get much more than what the tiny subscription fee is worth, so from that perspective, it's okay. But my overall reaction is pretty... muted, outside of Maoyuu. There's not a lot I can get actively excited about, even though I'm anticipating a lot of Winter shows. Considering they've been consistently picking up low profile stuff, I'm guessing we can expect Kotoura-san and GJ-bu (so in that sense, sometimes a low profile show focus can be good for me since I'm interested in those). But I bet anything they get Senyuu too because they totally don't have enough short-episode shows, am I right? -_- At least Chihayafuru should be coming. I damn well hope so anyway. gdgd fairies 2 announcement link: http://www.crunchyroll.co.uk/anime-news/2013/01/04/crunchyroll-to-stream-gdgd-fairies-2-anime A new box added with each of today's announcements. Another 2 titles to come today as well. Incidentally, gdgd fairies has missed out a slot on the lineup page: edit: they changed it so it's in the right place now. Anime on Demand officially announce Maoyuu Maou Yuusha: https://www.facebook.com/animeondemand.uk/posts/129252063903806 Another announcement in approximately 30 minutes time. From what they've said elsewhere it seems to be for the UK only due to "an irregularity that probably won't happen in future seasons". |

AoD seems to be more on the ball than CR, and Tamako Market one of the anime with top expectations as well. ![]() |

Kind of funny someone saying that when more than half their episodes come out a day or more later than intended. I get what you mean, though. But to be honest, at least so far, it's largely because AoD simply don't do shorts (or they never have to date, anyway). |
