Hey guys,

I don't mind any genre but I need something with a fast pace as I have a short attention span.

I'm currently watching Accel world and I'm gripped by the pacing.
Plot is also very important to me and I don't really like watching episodic type animes.

I really wish I could have enjoyed anime such as One piece, Kara No Kyokai, Ghost In the shell or Gurren Lagann but I just found them waaay too slow.

I enjoy action but dragged out fight scenes, repetition and dramatic pauses are a major turn off (eg. One Piece)

Thanks in advance,

Btooom! (one of the best animes I've seen in 2012. It also fast paced, only 12 episodes)

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure 2012; part 1 50 chapters in 9 episodes, part 2 still airing.

Keep watching the Kara no Kyoukai movies. The first one doesn't make too much sense because its set in the middle (chronological order and broadcast order are different) of the story. The 5th and 7th ones are really fast paced for 2 hour movies. The rest are each like an hour.

I'm already watching hunter x hunter (it's awesome) and I've watched 6 of kara no kyokai movies but don't have the motivation to watch the final one... same problem, great plot but its too slow :S

Thanks again folks :)

Thanks for the comments folks.
I've tried all of the anime in the list above and found Hunter x Hunter to be the best, followed by Mirai Nikki, Btoom, Magi.

Does anybody have any other suggestions? I need a gripping plot focused anime with a fast pace.

What does fast pace have to do with attention span :/

isn't continuity the actual problem if you have a short one? :P

I have never seen anything as fast paced as sword art online. However, its mega ultra fast pace made the show mediocre/okay and removed alot of potential.

Kuroko no Basuke, non-filler basketball anime throughout. You will love it.

You can also try Hunter x Hunter (2011). Battles are long for only one episode or two, it's a reboot of the old version.

Thanks for the comments.

Zetman was pretty damn good. Does anybody have more suggestions for fast paced anime?
