| Been in Yucatan and didn't encounter any cartels there most of the cartels in Mexico are active in the North of the country near the US border Yucatan is in the South of Mexico. It's a very popular tourist destination so there is a lot of police and military staff there to keep it safe. Funny with the shootout during the fireworks tho. |
