According to Mainichi, a new anime of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni was announced at the 10th anniversary live event. It will be aired in the spring of 2013. It will be based on a spin-off novel "Higurashi Outbreak". Keiichi and Rena investigate an outbreak of a mysterious virus in Hinamizawa. The director is Kawase Toshifumi. Is Umineko Chiru the answer arcs for Umineko no Naku Koro ni? Because if it is, I second that. I want to know what happened, god dammit.  |

DEEEEEEN I'll watch since it's Higurashi but I'm not happy that it apparently focuses on Rena. e__e Probably will be shit anyway, lol Kira. |

As long as it ain't by DEEN, or like Higurashi Kira, I approve. They have a lot to touch up on and a lot to make a new. I have high hopes for this. Then again, that's why I submitted it. Although I've been pretty disappointed since the first season of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (which I absolutely love and hold in high regard), I admit I am looking forward to this... I just hope it's better than Kira. As others have said, what I really want is Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru to be animated! xD |

Been waiting for this since it was posted on ANN. It's not that I don't like the comedy aspect of Higurashi... it's just I want more mystery and action :D It's an anime, right? |
