| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Okay, back to the story. The training for Arachnophobia has started. Stein teaching the Duel Arts/Team Resonance to Maka & the others and the conflict between Maka & Black Star is the highlight of the epi. Seeing Maka cry is kinda cute though XP Anyways, glad to see the training was a success in the end. I lol'd at Black Star's punch but hitting Maka is... =/ Anyways, all in all it's a great epi & the upcoming arc is going to be awesome =3 |

| Well on the bright side she did ask for it. Have to say those two really have some interesting conflicts. Not a surprise this was going to happen honestly. They have had some issues with their personality types in the first place. But also Maka has felt a bit envious of Black Star for a while now and it just came to a head here. Was necessary for them to deal with it or else they would fail this.Still last punch was crazy with Maka flying off from the impact. Still they sure got pretty physical in terms of a confrontation. Throws, punches, yelling and making Maka run off crying. At least they were friends at the end of the day. Kind of funny with Tsubaki hitting Black Star in the back of the head for his part in it. Even apologizing and asking her to handle the conversation that would be tough for him. Now they can hit around some enemies for a change. Should be a huge adventure. Though I worry about Stein and his condition. Doesn't seem like he can hold himself together much longer. Kind of sad that it seems if he does lose it that he'll really miss being able to teach those kids. |
| great episode. kept me on the edge of my chair. maka sounds quiet annoying when crying :/ Soul is soo cool :D I'm scared for Stein. I hope he can control the evil inside him -kind of how Soul's controlling the evil/demon inside him. The beginning with Stein's reflection in the mirror was done very well. |

| Not that great of an episode, but I would say it's okay & satisfying I thought Maka crying was pretty annoying too, but she had it coming. I wanna see the crazy Maka when the black blood took over, she'd be kicking butt anytime. Poor Stein, I hope Marie can help him snap out of the insanity >_< |
| Maka becomes envious and Black Star becomes quite a jerk. Sometimes friends have to have these sort of conflict in order to build a stronger relationship anyways. Interesting episode, next one is gonna roooock. Can't wait for the team to go 'crazy' on that mosquito dude. |

Remember Stein was wondering why the hell his madness was accelerating, and the main thing was having Marie become an unwilling spy. And that was one hellva punch. |

| Episode was awsome as always. There is no way this anime is ever gonna let me down! Black Star was stupid and this is the second time Black Star made his Crazy faces against Maka. That punsh was so funny but so uncool. Soul was pretty cool as always. MakaxSoul ownz MakaxBlackStar anyday |

Not sure what you can call filler from this episode. Shocking enough characters don't just get new skills out of nowhere. One episode to get the team soul resonance up and running is fine. Also Black Star's personality lead to some issues with Maka. Needed this episode to develop their characters and their friendship. Let's not insult the episode and series. |
| Didn't really like this episode. There was an awkwardness regarding how they dealt with Maka and Black Star being sick of each other right after Black Star going to Arachnaphobia's hq b/c of her being cursed. I agree that this was a long time coming, but i feel that they could have lead up to this better instead of lame filler like let's have a party, and let's play basketball, and let's do two more Excalibur episodes. However, end the end, there was no development of their friendship. Development would mean that the characters learned something about each other that they didn't know before to attain a higher understaning for one another. Tsubaki basically said "That's not important...what's important is that we're already friends, we don't have to understand each other. Everything will be fine because the writers make it that way." |

| Don't know about some of you guys but that ep was pretty cool... ..don't forget, Black Star is trying to surpass God and if he didnt punch Maka the way he did then that would go against all his beliefs and I would pretty much would've got turned off if he just slapped her or do some pansy thing thats not him...and it was funny too(not that I condone hitting women) Considering how blackstar went of his way to get a bit of vengeance for what happened to maka and then maka acts all arrogant like, she deserved that punch |
| It was very interesting and very important (especially for Maka) episode. I think that some people wold learn many things from it... And there was many truly important words about realtionship. It helped me understood some things. |
| - Blah blah, friendship blah. - Blah blah blah, morals blah! Have to admit though, one of the better moral-episodes I've seen in anime. While the episode wasn't much great at all alone, it made a pretty neat (or rather necessary) foreshadowing. Also, it felt like Maka and Black Star hadn't even noticed each other up until this episode. I'm glad we got to see at least SOME kind of interaction between them. Judging from the preview though, |
| Jesus Christ did anyone sub this damned thing yet? If only Dattebayo did not hate the series they would've probably picked it up.. I'm sick of waiting up to 3-5 days after a episode airs to watch it. |

| This episode was good~ I actually enjoyed Black Star and Maka's little fight. Lol, Maka was being such a baby this episode - it was refreshing to see Black Star get mad at her. Moreover, I respected Soul for staying out of it. Heh, it's good they got the team soul alignment done :) Maka totally deserved that punch from Black Star in the end xD |

| One thing I never got is why is Maka one of the main protagonists, her power level is nowhere near either Black Star or Death. I mean she should be somewhat close but is far and away the weakest member, if Soul has a few aces up his sleeve. |

| Meh episode, very slow as usual and I don't really see the point of an episode like this one. However, the last scene made up for the lack of development, so I guess I'm waiting for the next ep now. |

| i thought maka arguing with blackstar was very out of place, considering that a few episodes ago blackstar was trying to get revenge for her. maybe he shouldn't have hit her in the end. But when he told her he'd kick her ass if she tries him again, i thought he was in the right |
