| This was friggin' hilarious. I think I wanted to pick up the manga a few years back but never did. It was just brilliant. Can't wait for the second OVA. Now I think I'll check out the comic. |

| Great but I was expecting more. I was laughing my ass off when I read the manga, but this OVA is trying to be a "feel-good" anime. I wonder, if Shaft produced (and Shinbo directed) this instead of A-1, perhaps it would have the same effect as Arakawa Under the Bridge. |
| I was disappointed they didn't put the fairy floss part in it! That would have been great. Though I still prefer the manga atm. It's true i was also expecting more, but it didn't disappoint, so I'm happy. |

| o_O I enjoyed the first part way more than the other. The second was a bit borring imo. Anyway I was expecting something better :/ I think I'll check out the manga while waiting for second episode (since so many people say that manga is actually funnier) |
| First half was better for me too. It was quite good, the references of Buddha's stories were hilarious! You pretty much need to know about them to enjoy this ;) 4/5 |

| Pretty funny concept and nice execution, the only thing that bothers me a bit is the slow pace but it sure was hilarious! Lets see what the second episode has to offer! |

| this is pretty nice so far! very laid back and cute comedy. the voice actors have nice voices and the art isnt that bad. |

I think it was offering itself up as food, since they (the cats) thought Buddha and Jesus are hungry, there was another cat that brought out a matchbox and Jesus said "We would never barbecue a cat!" This was also manifested earlier that day by the neighbor's peach tree when it blossomed and produced fruits while Buddha was passing. Buddha whispered to the tree, "Don't be so concerned. It's not as if I have nothing to eat it."Can someone explain to me the cat thing? |

| I figured Jesus and Buddha would be decidedly over the top but they actually felt real. There was some pretty funny stuff as well, perhaps the cat offering itself to eat on the plate being the funniest moment of the episode. |

| That was a nice episode. A very nice blend of those 2 religions. I'm catholic and those jokes were nothing blasphemous, which is a good thing (since is kinda delicate theme in mu opinion... My little complains is about Jesus' behaivor but is not a big deal). I only had read few thing about buddhism, so was a good opportunity to learn more about it like white snake Naga (and more japan stuff like lol the kamis in each rice xD). Definitely wanna watch the movie when I get the chance. |

| This concept really is novel, slice of life but add the most out of touch beings in fiction. This was quite humorous, though I feel a tad out of the loop of some of the religious gags, I knew quite a few but I'm sure this is a great lol if you know about Buddhism and Christianity respectively. The style and animation is gorgeous and though it was so many years prior and I don't see a staff connection, it really gives me Mob Psycho 100 vibes on the style. Either way, super well polished. Gonna cram this series in whole. |
