When is our yearly dose of REAL gonna be scanlated? Good to see it selling well.
Ansatsu sold more than last week, if it continued selling this way it'll surpass Bleach's sales, maybe Naruto's too, and that's just the manga, when it gets an anime who knows how good its sales will raise.
While I'm not holding my hopes high I'd really like a 2nd season from Inu x Boku
One Piece's sales are dropping, aren't they? I mean 2.5 Million copies? Well it's not really a surprise, the quality has been dropping for a while now, nothing really that interesting except the recent chapter or 2.
Magi's first volumes aren't on the list, because this week the sales for other volumes are better. They're probably still selling 15000+ copies per week, just like always.
You can buy it properly here of course, which is what I do:
(Bbcode hates the URL, sorry) http://www.amazon.co.jp/めだかボックス外伝-グッドルーザー球磨川-『水槽管理のツークツワンク』-JUMP-BOOKS/dp/4087032809
めだかボックス外伝 グッドルーザー球磨川 小説版(下)
Then your buy even shows up in the rankings which is really cool I think :)
Oh and yes it is great to see Inu Boku doing so well. Tasogare Otome is farther down but volume 8 has double the first week sales of volume 7. After enjoying episode 13 so much I would love a season two of that one as well or at least OVAs bundled manga volumes nine, ten, etc.
There's one huge problem. I cannot read japanese. I cannot even read my own second language properly.
And I doubt Tasogare will get a season 2. To my knowledge, it deviates quite a lot from the manga.
AssClass is still selling. Wow. Is this probably a new hit? Too early to say but I'm gonna find out. The robot student(though her display was pretty cute) kinda doesn't sit well with me.
Probably time to read Blade Dance, though I'm reluctant to start on LNs with irregular translation releases.
And guess SAO's domination is over now. Only Progressive and vol1 still stays. A week more 'til volume 11 as well as Mahouka volume 8.

You think someone could translate a 224 page light novel for free in under two weeks since this new release came out??? I read in Japanese so I don't track how long it takes the scanlators but I think it would take a full time professional translation team longer than two weeks to do a good job.
Yes, Tasogare is quite different. I read it in Japanese. I don't care if it is different, I love what they did with the anime. Just visually it is beautiful, stunning, a real example in my opinion of how things can be done. I think it was one of the best anime series of the year from both a technical and a story/character standpoint. So I would love to see more but from the sales which I have personally affected by importing BDs you are probably right. Which is why I hope for at least another OVA or two. Dare to dream...
The first volume of Good Loser Kumagawa isn't anywhere either. Most novels never get scanlated so I doubt it ever will be.
I have no idea how long it takes too. I didn't even know it has so much pages.
Don't get me wrong on Tasogare. I loved it too. I got my knowledge from the forums on how different it was from the manga, so I was expecting the storyline to fail, but it was impossible to even tell, the anime original ending was one of the best I've seen in a long time.

The translator for the Toaru Index novels translated the latest volume, NT5, in two weeks after it was released. He was releasing parts of it daily and there were little to no grammatical errors. It's possible but you really need a dedicated person or team to do translations.
Someone just needs to have some interest and proficiency in translating this or any novel for that matter.
I have yet to see a manga that sells at least 1 mill copies every volume. Some rarely hit a quarter of OP sales, the 500k mark, and that's mind boggling.

It's crazy thinking that it's still selling over the 1mil mark. Everyone thought it was going to die off volumes ago, but it's still going.
hpulley said: funny that kaizoku pirate is right next to kaji rudder in one of my dictionaries and the kanji even looks like one...
Kaizoku is 海賊 Kaji is 舵
Can't really see how the kanji look like each other?
So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old?
I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them?
I wonder how long people would put up with this.
As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series.
^ I see. Now I see what you mean. Indeed the right part of the kanji for Kaji looks like a rudder.
I still have a bunch of novels I have bought and have yet to read. I wish I could make better progress with monogatari series for example, though the recent read of Shinsekai Yori is a great one.
