| It's been noted that despite Haruhi's emotional intelligence in most other things, she tends to be oblivious when others find her attractive. This is likely what happened to Arai in the flashback to middle school. However, in the case of Kasanoda, I have a different theory what was going on when she replied about wanting to be friends. When he's about to declare his love for her, note that there are a dozen or more girls watching, girls who think Haruhi is a boy. I think she knew exactly what Kasanoda was about to say, but if she were to accept his declaration of love, it would mean that all those girls would either walk away thinking Haruhi and Kasanoda now have a same-sex relationship, or she'd have to out herself as a girl. (Not that there's anything wrong with a same-sex relationship - after all, the girls eat it up when Kaoru and Hikaru put on the gay twins act - but it might not be what Haruhi wants for herself or thinks Kasanoda would want.) By giving him the friend rebuff, it allows her to avoid this dilemma. |

| Tamaki was gonna realize his feelings but shifted back into denial mode lmao as hilarious as this is, I really wanna see how he'll act as soon as he knows he is in love with Haruhi <3 This episode was priceless, Haruhi is so oblivious she didn't even realize she friendzoned Casanova. F The massive waves of sympathy towards him, even from Tamaki were hilarious. |
| Bossa Nova's interactions with Haruhi were adorable, especially after how coarse he seemed last episode, and especially when he ended up trying to confess. I didn't remember this episode being so funny (for me, at least). |

| Kasanoda is amazing. He might have sadly been friendzones but he won the hearts of many . Tamaki was also pretty funny this episode and I've been liking this past few episodes a lot. I really really hope it can keep it up for the final 3 |

| Oh my god robot Tamaki was probably the best part for me. XD Poor Kasanoda though, he ended up in the friend zone real bad there. But regardless he did capture the attention of the girls in the Host Club that’s the main thing I guess. I haven’t got much to say about this episode other than it was extremely hilarious. |
