| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ----------------------------------------  Well, I found this latest episode a bit of gloom especially with Hakaze in the dark there. Natsumura's such a boss during that fight against the military. I thought this latest Tempest episode was okay with some other flashbacks. Yoshino looks kinda weird with that hat. It fits better on Aika imo. It was also kinda tough watching Mahiro and Yoshino fight each other briefly. However, I kinda lol'd @ Samon this episode. Looks like someone's pissed. Not bad overall I guess. |

| Holy crap, this episode. The development and plot twists just keep blazing ahead. Helen of Troy ain't got nothin' on Aika. And, as always, the top-notch production quality of this series makes it feel like watching a masterpiece. |

| Haha that was an awesome episode! Samon's priceless faces were hilarious! "Wait, what is he doing?! What does it matter if she had a boyfriend? Why is this all being turned around into his favor because of the word boyfriend?!" XD And Hakaze's surprised face in the end just basically summed up the 'wtf' moment some of the audience may have been going through as well. One thing I'm rather curious about is this Shakespearean play called the 'Tempest'. What is it about and how has it so far connected to the plot of this anime in particular? I also just have to gush about the part where Mahiro defends Yoshino against Samon's attack (which was just as funny because he was desperately trying to make sense of two hormonal teenage boys that were in love with the same girl lol). Mahiro is really loyal, no matter what. I almost dislike Yoshino at times (even though there weren't many occasions to do so, seeing how crude Mahiro's characterization is) because he almost takes Mahiro for granted. Mahiro is hard enough to get close to and that's why it makes sense that Hakaze becoming 'worthless' didn't affect his 'logical' thought. However, once you're close to Mahiro, he will refuse to believe that you could ever just leave him and all that you are. You reach his expectations, you matter to him, and the essence of who are never changes for him (which for most people is not an ideal outlook they'd want their closest friends to have because people grow and change). But through thick and thin, Mahiro is always THERE for Yoshino. He's always got his back, always willing to hear him out, and completely honest with him. But at the same time, we know the character Mahiro is playing in Hamlet is Laertes. And in text, we can really see how Ophelia seems almost nothing like how she was portrayed yet Laertes's character and attitude towards her is more or less the same (perhaps a bit toned down on the sexual attraction and confusion part) and this almost makes Mahiro's demands that she stay single rather absurd. All in all, this was an awesome episode but I really want to explore to the depth Mahiro and Yoshino's friendship. It's been bothering me for a while, how they seem to care and then all of the sudden not care about each other. I think the next episode will provide that so looking forward to it :P |

| First rather lame episode. Too much talking, switching sides than switching them back. The brightest moments of this episode was closeups on wet Hakaze ;D |

| THIS WAS A GREAT EPISODE. I think I'm going to start reading the manga again I kind of quit because I had too much work. My theory: All this bromance ;D @Spirai: Yoshino and Mahiro are really, really good friends and care a lot about each other despite how they act. We already know how much Mahiro cares because of how he's pretty much always protecting Yoshino. Despite how much Yoshino betrays (episode... 3? 4? Not sure) Mahiro, he really cares about him a lot as well. In the first or second episode, he told Yamamoto that he "just can't leave Mahiro alone." They both also mention that they would not have become the people that they have, without each other. Their friendship is really nice. |

I find this episode to be the best so far. It combined elements of action, drama, visuals and revelations of unprecedented shock TBH. I for one was impressed of Samon’s stance in the following, That was damn kick ass pose there and the best of his. The past revealed a nice instance of Yoshino x Aika. Yoshino also looked horrible in that hat TBH. | Wow classical music and Shakespeare references plus talking about illogical fallacies this is a pretty classy anime haha really though the plot twists combined with what was listed above made it quite the episode!! even though some people wanted more action haha there needs to be some level of intelligence. |

(Story of the Tempest: Powerful sorcerer is left to die in a island) The tempest is the Shakespeare work that prevails here even though Yoshino's setup and behavior includes allusions to Romeo (Romeo & Juliet), Mahiro to "Prince Hamlet" (Hamlet), Hakaze to "Prospero" (The tempest) and Aika... Aika goes in a spoiler which character she "is" from Shakespeare because that character´s story follows hers and gives massive plot hints, if you dont want to know dont click |

| I'm not shocked like all of you and I can't see any big plot twist. However, now I'm sure that Aika must be alive - it's normal, predictable thing in that kind of stories... still, it's a good show and I wonder how it'll all end up. |

| Still pretty mind f'ckd but less than how I was last episode (ep 8) Anyways, kyaa, pretty darn good episode! Now we have to wait another week! >_< The whole time travelling thing is friggin confusing but I guess there's no helping that. But dang.. I never realized how big of a role Aika was playing until now.. It's almost as if she knew all this was gonna happen so did all that she did to prevent it.. Almost . Huh, interesting; can't wait for the next episode^^ |

| Way to go Yoshino turning the situation which had all the against you into your favor. I was laughing at how awesome he was this episode. First he calls Mahiro a hypocrite for saying he doesnt care about the world but hes willing to save civilians then makes Samon panic. I wonder what Yoshinos method could be, perhaps changing events in the past so Hakaze and Aika don't die? From that flashback I think Aika knew the future or something in that realm which I find intriguing. This show just raised the stakes for Samon, Yoshino, and Mahiro. I have a feeling that no matter what happens Yoshino is gonna die Last note: The name for the ED makes sense now with it being called "Happy Endings" |

The characters are so fucking epic and what is amazing is that they have some pretty uncommon character patterns for anime, and still manage to be consistent and consequent.... while surprising us every time. Yoshino and Mahiro are NOTHING like stereotypes but they are such complex personalities I can't help but notice the author must have put a lot of attention and smart thoughts in them.... literally, how could someone come up with all this stuff and make it connect so damn well ? Well I guess this show NEEDED those many episodes to build up all this mindfuck. It would have been impossible in 2-3 eps to expose everything. I was never a big fan of speeding. I just have this feeling that it will get much higher in rankings in the future. |
