Aren't those two little shikigami (?) a little bit creepy reading "In this city... there are no people" with smiles on their faces? ;] And headphones... kinda weird references to Chobits.

Of course Maru and Moro are creep but that isn't a bad thing... I also love how the characters are displayed in the manga more so than their anime counterparts... not sure why.

i didnt even notice the references when i watched the anime, only noticed it when reading the manga, and i think they left the book out completely

Starting to really ship Watanuki and Doumeki chapters 25-33 really deliver (there's no chapter 27-33 discussion or i'm blind), never even expected to get ships out of this manga but clamp delivers! there's also some really good takeaways from time to time.
I don't know if it actually will get somewhere but hate to love would be interesting if not Doumeki being a real bro is fine too.
