"If your hungry just tell me, you don't need to go starving youself baka." Says Kurogane in an uncharactarically soft tone.

Fai opened his eye to reveal a totally different one then when he had closed it. He looked up through his lashes and lowered the man's hand, but he did not let it go. he held it warm in his own. He looked down at it and said, "Kurogane..." he smiled closing his eye and traced the lines in his palm. "Thank you." he opened his eye, which was back to its normal and looked up into Kurogane's red ones.

"Hn.." Kurogane responded as he wrapped an arm around fai's small frame pulling him closer.

Fai blushed and looked curiously at the man, "Kurogane, don't you think you should buy me a drink first?"

**OOC: But he already did. lol.**

"I'm cold." Was all he said lacking his usaul insults toward fai.

Kurogane yawns some.

Fai smiled and leaned into the touch resting his head on the man's shoulder. he watched the fire lick at the night sky and even though they were lost and alone he couldn't help but think this was a nice night.

-Morning-

Kurogane gave fai most of his body warmth during the night. He has fai pulled onto his lap arms wrapped around him. His eyes closed in supposed slumber.

Mokona yawns suddenly, "Is it morning...?"

Three suns began rising over head. One orange, one red, and one yellow gold.

Fai stirred at Mokona's voice. his eye fluttered opened. He looked up when he noticed he was in someone's lap. "Good morning Kurogane." he said with a sweet smile. the man had held him the entire night, Fai felt a strange tug of emotion.

One crimson eye opens and looks down at Fai, "Morning."

"Mokona is hungry!" Stated the white Manjuun.

"Well we don't have much." Responded Kurogane as he fished through sachel bag he brought from the last world.

He pulls out a bag of rasins, "Here Manjuun this is all you get."

"Oooh Mokona loves rasins!" She squealed happly as she opened the bag and started munching on the dried grapes.

"Hn." Wa Kurogane's response.

Fai smiled and started to move from his position in Kurogane's lap. "Mokona, have i told you how cute you are?"

Mokona giggles, "Not today Fai-Mommy!"

A soft sobbing is heard.

Kurogane tences and places fai on the ground and stands.

Sniffles of a child echo around them.

Fai stood as well and looked around curiously for the source of the noise. "Hello? Is anybody there?" he said cheerfully with a smile.

A little girl around the age of three comes out from behind a rock.

She's startling in appearance, she has silvery white hair two her mid back in tattered pigtails, wide pink eyes, and snow white skin.

Her outfit consists of a dirty and torn once red but now black sundress, she's barefoot and holding a golden locket. She gives off a large powerful magic signature.

Fai was taken aback by the powerful magic but quickly pasted on his usual smile. "Why hello there, and what might your name be?"

She looks at Fai fearfully..."Sere Illuminatai.."

Illuminatai was a rich family in Celes before Fai left.

She hugs the locket to herself.

Kurogane eyes Sere some before walking over as well, "Where's ur parents kid?"

"Illuminatai?!" Fai's eyes widened in shock and his smile wavered.

Sere flinches, "Y-yes..."

She rushes and hides behind the rock again, "You want to kill Sere too!"

Sere wails softly.

Kurogane walks past Fai and the to girl and gently scoops her up, "Shhh we don't want to kill you or anyone else at the moment okay pipsquick?"

Sere sniffles more but calms somewhat and hides her small face in kurogane's neck.

"I'm sorry," said Fai his smile back. "I just used to know someone named Illuminatai."

"Mommy...was eatten...and I don't know where older brodah(brother) is..." Big fat tears spill down her cheeks.

"I is alone!!" Sobs softly clutching her lil fists into kurogane's shirt.

"Oiii no crying, your not a baby anymore right?" Asked kurogane paniced at her tears.

"Noooo Sere is big girl!" Responded the silver haired lil girl proudly amongst her tears.

"Good then, big girls don't cry over bein' lost, besides your not alone you got us."

"Mokona says we adopts her! She's so kawaii!" Pips Mokona.

"You're so mean Kurogane. Here let me have her." Fai reached out to take the little girl. "You said your mother was eaten? that's horrible. You can tell mommy-Fai all about it. And this one here is Kuro-daddy."
