| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The choices of the seiyuu for the one shot (especially the one from speaker... lol), good job. The pair is shocked about the one shot. The mangaka of the one shot is their fan. It's pretty splendid, but the content is not good for Jack. Tachibana-san being talkative (the new mangaka) and KajiKaji being bewildered (new editor), it's hard to imagine! But he's very tricky and do things that makes him popular instantly by making trouble for the company, getting editor in chief's attention, and immediate meeting with the pair. He showed his true identity and the secret behind his works in front of the pair and said he doesn't trust the new editor. |

| Anime44 has it available, but the subs (still) aren't out. It appears the translator may have overloaded on tryptophan during the great national turkey pogrom last week (American Thanksgiving), or at least that's the impression given by the sage website. |

| I'm pretty sure that the narrator for classroom of truth is also the voice of Okabe Rintaro from Steins;Gate. To be honest I wasn't very impressed with the manga itself... there are many of these "survival" tournament type manga and I doubt any of them will ever reach the level of Battle Royale or Gantz, especially not a shonen like this. Nanamine is a pretty interesting new char. I hope his arc doesn't last for too long though. |

| The classroom of truth~Tbh, that opening scene almost made me feel like I was there. I pray that someday, The Classroom of Truth becomes a real serialized manga in the real world. I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I don't like that Nanamine kid though. I mean, on the surface, he acts all polite and nice but later reveals that he is a two-faced bastard. Climbing all the way up to Jack? I hope he gets his ass kicked soon. Tsh.  |

First real criticism of Bakuman I've had, though. well it's more than just knowing his plans and revealing them. the manga he brought was very popular, enough that the office was piled with calls. could a business really kick a guy out who can create something so promising? no they are going to try and conform him and keep him. it's more of a question of how will the other mangakas and editors react to knowing how nanamine gets his ideas. is it really a problem that he is getting opinions and ideas from other people? he himself is doing the drawing and compiling of all these things, and then submitting it so why not? that's what we'll find out ! <3 the reactions nanamine is creating, all over again. |

| Nanamie Touru has become one of my favorite antagonists, simply put, he's Bakuman's Yagami Light...then again, the two works are compiled by the same geniuses. |

Over time however, I think you will inevitably drift towards design by committee--dull, safe, and standardized. It's rare that a small group of writers can keep fresh--Monty Python managed it but most American sitcoms get turned into pablum once the show has been running for a while. We'll see where this goes... |

| WOW! This new character is AMAZING. This episode really reminded me of who the authors of Bakuman really are - the people who created Death Note. The cold, cunning, calculating type - who does whatever they need to do in order to achieve their goals - they are the best! |

| Silly how hard they're working to make this guy seem evil. Oh no, he successfully launched a viral marketing campaign and painstakingly incorporated public ideas from trusted sources to make a better manga! The fiend! Honestly, he'd be the protagonist if he had a different voice and expressions. |
