Anyways, another awesome episode 5/5 Well, actually, NA did that in the previous version, but I didn't expect MH to do the same. After all, the manga has only one panel for the flashback itself. It's just that I found everything after Squala's death too fast, you know, like the director said "crap, we only have two minutes left for this episode, let's just cram in as much as we can." The cliffhanger choice feels odd. But again, that's just an opinion and still doesn't ruin the episode for me. Pakunoda was revealing an important ability and there wasn't even a moment's pause to appreciate its significance. It was like, "here memory bullets" and then BAM next scene. Couldn't have said it better. If they hadn't removed the people in the other cars (who appear in the manga) it would've been less noticeable. Also, this is mostly nitpicking but the fact that they used some wierdly animated bullets (they're not slo-mo but you can still see them, just watch the rain) didn't do much for me. |

| Looks like the phantom troupe finally acquired the identity of the chain user and now gon and killua are both captured leaving kurapica and melody to some how find a way of freeing them. Looking forward to the last two episodes. |

| You know, since I haven't mentioned it- it's nice to see some villains with common sense. Six Troupe members going after who they think to be the chain user may be "overkill", but it's a lot smarter than sending one or even two guys at a time, like in most shounen. I felt bad for Squala. He moved too much. ._.; I also feel bad for Killua, who seems to be the only one appreciating the risk they've been taking. He's fully aware of how dangerous simply tailing the Troupe members is. His comment on Kurapika's recklessness was something I appreciated... and he was right. He and Gon got caught because of it. Kurapika's going to have to get his head on straight if he's to stand a chance. I don't see how this arc could finish in two episodes. What the crap is about to happen? |

| I enjoyed watching Killua and Melody working together. Somehow they make a good team :) It seems harmonic as they both are pretty reasonable. |
