As the title says. What's your favourite touhou game?

PS: If you have no idea what those numbers behind the games mean, don't bother asking, you might or might not find out soon enough.

Voted Imperishable Night. I actually like Embodiment of Scarlet Devil better but Imperishable Night is the best polished Touhou game, I especially like the spell practice mode.

im gonna say Imperishable Night also, i like almost every character, its gamesystem is almost perfect and its not so hard as the rest of touhou games :D

i like Phantasmagoria of Flower View and Imperishable Night

It's hard for me to choose the favourite one from IaMP, IN, PoFV and SWR. (>_<")
I guess I'll just go with IN as I have played that one the most probably. IaMP, PoFV and SWR are so awesome when you play them with your friends through netplay.

We need to get some IaMP netplay going.

It's been a long time and I probably suck now, but I'm willing to fight anyone. :)

I have to agree to this, though voting with reversed roles. I'm voting for Embodiment of Scarlet Devil.

I voted Imperishable Night, partially because it was the one that got me addicted to Touhou (don't get me wrong I was playing Touhou before that though, just not as frequently).

Though I do like Mountain of Faith's new bomb system.

I have to say Imperishable Night. Though the difficulty curve from easy to normal is rather intense, it is a lot easier than the other games and more fun to play if your a casual gamer and you don't have a lot of time to grind to the higher difficulties.

if i had to pick a close second it would have to be Perfect Cherry Blossom. the battles are more intense than Imp. Nights, and other than Scarlet Devil you can actually get somewhere on easy. only problem is that the difficulty curve on EASY is akin to running into a brick wall if you never played before which is the main reason why i picked Imp. Night as first.

been playing these games irregularly for maybe 4-5 months and I'm still on easy lol.

I've played them. They're pretty difficult. :( but yeah, they were fun. Just.. dated.

IaMP is fun, but I don't see it being a favorite haha. Even for a fighting game nut like myself.

Yeah, they're awsome. Just they that kill my eyes when using bombs is the only bad part, but it's not that hard without bombs in 1-5 so it's alright.

I voted for Mountain of Faith... though probably Phantasmagoria of Flower View (Because of a certain half ghost half human) would have been my next pick. I only picked MoF because I think the projectile patterns are frikking gorgeous, and I haven't gotten past level two yet -_-; The only thing I miss is that it doesn't keep track of Grazes anymore... I liked knowing I very nearly died 247 times through the level. :D Oh... another pro for this game was the options, up to four of them, moar firepower = me happy.

I probably play MoF more than anything these days because the gameplay and backgrounds are just too damn smooth for its own good.

I voted Imperishable Night, because Yuyuko & Youmu are playable (even if I sucks with them) and it is the very first touhou I 1cc, I love the story which is an adaptation of "the tale of the bamboo cutter" the story of the princess Kaguya :) & the last word spell card are so wonderfu and hard to unlock & pass

I love touhou 4 Lotus Land story too, because of the epic musics (Love Bad apple, Casket of Star, Sleeping Terror, Inanimated Dream...) and the pattern are very fun to dodge, the normal mode is easy to 1cc and Yuka is so moe .........

Gonna have to go with Imperishable Night. The setup of that game was just really well done, with the team battles, unlocking solo mode, a great variety of characters, good music (as always) and just a wide variety of play in general. Perfect cherry blossom was also really fun and would probably take second place for me, you can't argue with temporary invulnerability ;)

Phantasmagoria of Flower View takes third place, I liked the rather unique play style of it, going head to head against another character. It also seemed a lot less difficult then some of the others, but that may have been because I had a good deal of experience by the time I got around to tackling it.

As for 1-5, I had problems getting the emulator to work, so I never got a chance to play them.

lol they are actually pretty easy to use last time I checked.
