I think we're at a late enough point in the year to come to a decision, so I ask, what are your thoughts? For me, I'd have to say Cloud Atlas for best and The Man With the Iron Fists for the worst. |

Hard to pick the best movie of the year. We had quite a few good ones this year alone with the likes of Batman, Prometheus, Spiderman, Avengers, Looper, and Lawless. |

After having just seen Skyfall today, I can safely say that it's my favorite movie of the year so far. |

Best would be The Hobbit, It's not out yet but The Hobbit. All other answers are null and void. (serious answer, going to wait it out, still got a few other movies coming out that just can't be ignored.... Like The Hobbit.) ![]() It's easy to compliment someone that you'll never envy, but even easier to try and tear down someone who's better than you. |

As much as I enjoy Tarantino's work and Peter Jackson's LOTR I don't expect them to trump Cloud Atlas, and as bad I expect Twilight to be, I still don't expect it to be worse than The Man With the Iron Fists. I mean MWtIF gave me such a massive migraine worse than any of the previous Twilights. |

Dark Knight Rises was easily the movie of the year in my books. That was absoloutly fantastic. Worst... Hmm, haven't seen too many of the bad ones, HOWEVER, I WAS dragged to see Jack and Jill in theaters by a friend... Ugh, NEVER have I seen a movie that bad... I usually don't watch films that look like a waste of time... |

I usually don't watch films that look like a waste of time... I'm so sorry. Jack and Jill was actually my pick for worst of 2011, and definitely the worst Adam Sandler movie to date, and what's worse is it not only took down Adam Sandler but also Al Pacino and Johnny Depp. Johnny Depp had no business in that movie, especially wearing a Justin Bieber T. He must be desperate for money or something because that was just sad. Then ya got Al Pacino kissing a cross-dressing Adam Sandler. I don't think he can recover from that. So far I thought Batman,Wreck-It-Ralph, and Safe House we're the best, but my views could change once Red Dawn comes out. The worst was without a doubt Jack and Jill, damn stupid ass movie. “Never forget who you are, for surely the world won’t. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armor yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.” -George R.R. Martin (A Game of Thrones) |

I'm at ends for Best Movie so my choices would be Argo, The Dark Knight Rises, or The Avengers The Worst goes to Underworld: Awakening, the plot was generic. One of the main characters was replaced with a CGI stand in, the fight scenes varied from bad to ok. I believe the worst thing that came out of this was the fact that it was somehow written by 3 different guys. I almost think they had to try to make the story/script as bad as it turned out. |

The best - Avengers, no contest. Dark Knight Rises was really good, too. Worst - Thats harder, because I haven't seen too many "bad" films, but I'll give it to Wrath of the Titans. What a boring film. |

Too much still to watch. I still don't want to commit to anything just yet, but here's where I currently stand. Best 1. Beasts of the Southern Wild 2. The Dark Knight Rises 3. ParaNorman Worst 1. The Dictator 2. The Lorax 3. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter My first novel, Kardia has been published! Click here to read! Every time you recommend Sword Art Online, a baby seal gets clubbed. |

Don't really like picking one by combining genres. Still yet to see Batman (yes I know), Looper, Argo, Skyfall, and Cloud Atlas. And the ones coming the Hobbit (might push me to watch LOTR AGAIN). I hear Cloud Atlas can be really confusing, so I doubt it will be a popular vote for best film. However I'm excited with the star-power and the time-spanning epic. Can't wait. :> |

Best (so far): The Dark Knight Rises Avengers The Expendables 2 (fuck the haters! :P) 21 Jump Street Worst: The Hunger Games Snow White and the Huntsman Battleship (though admittedly, I enjoyed it for how bad it was) John Carter There's still Argo, Flight, Looper, Skyfall, Wreck-It Ralph, Cabin in the Woods, etc. etc. I want to watch. |
