Found Luke to be even more highly annoying in this episode, looks like things don't get any better judging by the preview for the next episode.

Yeah, I'm glad the fight lasted more than one swing of the sword. I'm playing through the game right now, but it's really weird when a drawn out battle in the game is won in seconds in the anime (e.g., the underground spider).

I'm looking forward to how they continue to develop Luke's character. In the game, he came off as sort of annoying, but in the anime, he's really obnoxious, which is probably closer to how it's supposed to be.

I must say, I'm pretty much siding with the bad guys here. Their side of the argument seems a lot more reasonable.

Then you'll probably love this one, too:

Their argument is sound, but their methods will be a big "no-no".

I wish somebody would give Luke a nice hard punch to the face. Damn he pisses me off.

Luke was even more annoying in this episode than the others before it, god damn.



Seeing the game sort of ruins the surprises, but oh well.

Liked the little "clues" in the episode.. I'm starting to have a theory about Asch and Luke, which is better than being only "wtf?!" ;P And I've already spoiled myself about Sync before the anime started, seeing info on the game, so =/
Ow, but couldn't that girl shot Luke... Then he would be nicer, no? At least he'd have to stop ¬¬
And I liked Tear's past... She was so cute x3 And Jade rules x3 I love his sarcasm x3
And since the beginning of the anime that I'm not a fan of the Score.. It's stupid having your whole life written and you knowing you'll follow exactly what's written in there... =/ At least I'd be always worried about if I was doing what I was supposed to do... I guess you end up depending too much on that "prophecy"...

I love how all the game people are like "just bear with Luke for a little longer". lol why don't we just... not say anything about THAT at all?

Anyway, love how worked up Jade was in this episode. It's totally more noticeable than in the game. I kinda laughed at how easily he was brought out of it by Anise, though. HEHE.

Haha, Luke want psycho and was still ignored.

Adaptation is still going strong.

poor luke so much abuse D: although I guess he is really stuck up =/, but I guess this is typically the part where he begins to change for the better =O can't wait for next ep =D

They don't follow the Score because they are told to. The Score promises peace and prosperity in the future. If you are told that if you go to X place you will get richer, and it happens, you will obviously start wondering if perhaps you should follow the person's advice. if it happens a second time, you will only trust that person more. That's basically what happens with the Score. it's so accurate that people eventually decide to let themselves go with it.

Just for pointers, Scorers are forbidden to tell people when the Score say something bad about them. They have to play with words when that happens. And it's sad that you really can't grasp the message that well in the Anime. In the game, there's plenty of NPC's that confess that they do every single thing according to the Score, which adds more weigth to Legretta's words and counters the half-hearted denials from the "heroes".

Meh on the other hand how would you feel when all your companions are holding off information. It's how he was raised, to dependant on Van so he needs him too much for now. I feel more sorry for him then that i'm actually spitefull.

Luke should start geing better after episode 9 hopefully. Also Ion is a he not a she, just thought I should point that out.

Hey i know Luke was annoying like hell but lets face it, nobody really talks to him about anything important, so he thought of a chance to look like a big shot >.< And having one person sweet talk you from many that just leave you out in the cold, i think he did what he thought was right. Well lets see how the rest turns out, and yes the idea they have is right but the methods to achieve it is totally wrong
