| "Barcelona -92" :') you did it Yawara! There were sad times, happy times, too many mistakes, misery and so on, emotions at hard use. Great show, first I was saying this show seem to be too long, but actually I liked show because of it in the end ;) Now time for side story and sequel movie D: |

| This show got better as it got around its final third (especially after Masuda picked her up from that stupid company trip she was on) and Yawara lessened the incessant whining about not wanting to play judo and the jerkoff playboy was pushed into the background for her as well. Too bad Masuda wasn't allowed by the writers to confirm things with Yawara though. As it is nothing is really settled a couple blushes and looks mean nothing. I think this show had the potential to be even better but I found it too uneven to really love, has great moments in the middle of some drudgery, shame. 6/10. |

| That was a really intense match b/w Yawara and Sayaka! 🤩 There must still be a variety of moves hidden under Yawara's belt. Was surprising to see her do those ground techniques 🔥 Cool to see more moves besides the Ippon seoi. Hope we'll get to see Yawara and her dad reunite soon (can Yawara plz at least flip her dad again when they do tho 😂) Also WHY WHYY do u always have to interrupt Matsuda and Yawara, gramps? 😤 Why did everyone flood out of the room at the same time at that moment?! AGHHH GIVE THEM THEIR HAPPY ENDING LIKE KAZAMIDORI (LOL) AND SAYAKA 😪😫😂 Gonna miss these weird but lovely, wholesome characters!! 🤧 |
| A beautiful ending to the anime. Eventually I'll look up the manga to see the differences, especially in the ending. This needs a release at least in my country with those beautiful new covers in the kanzenban format, but we know how Urasawa holds tights his works and I respect him for doing so. It took me around a year and a half to complete this, it was worth the slow watch whenever I felt like it, now on to the specials. I've also known for many years of the existence of Happy! I wonder why that never got an adaptation, at this point it would seem like it never will since it seem so niche. We'll see through the years. A great watch, would recommend to almost anyone that can appreciate older anime and that is curious about the complete works of Uraswa the Master. |
