well if you have come to this thread it means u have either seen all or part of NSN. so here you can let out everything u though about this hentai. as for me i didn't find it disgusting i'm not into any of that but i didn't think it was gross i was just like this is what happens when u let curiosity get the best of you. u end up wasting you time watching this pointless hentai. i laughed more then i was disgusted so i guess that means i'm pretty sick myself. |

The first time I saw it, it grossed me out, although it didn't make me sick to my stomach, like Bible Black did. But once I watched the series the whole way through, I actually liked it. It's kinda like the Saw movies (which I used to be a fan of), because like SsKira said, of the psychological aspect. =^.^= |

I watched it because I saw really much sick stuff (and I mean really, REALLY sick suff) on the internets and wantet to see if this anime can make me wanna thow up, but (sadly?) it didn't. And about the "psychological aspect" of a hentai: |

I'm not saying you should watch hentai for the psychology. I'm saying that the fact this hentai had some psychological undertones was interesting (most hentai are just about rape and sex, without much more to it). NSN's plot was a hypothetical scenario that made me wonder if something like this really could happen in a hospital or any other business area. Obviously, it's not as uncommon in real life as one may think. See: Stockholm syndrome. =^.^= |

The difference between the comments in this thread and the top-rated reviews of the series are amazing. Seriously. It's not that bad a series... people sure are pathetic these days. -_- Talk about exaggerations. And I'm not sure I would personally compare it to the Saw series because I don't see NSN as something so universally undesirable as a slow and torturous death... I have a lot of controversial opinions, but if I'm against anything it's pain for the sake of pain. Death is all well and good, but suffering is what upsets me. And from the look of it, the nurses were rarely genuinely suffering. |

This is one thing you have to develop a taste for on some level, not everyone can appreciate something so dark and sadistic (did I mention blunt?) so quick and like many other rape anime's this is hardly for those with light stomach's and heart's. But yeah, I like Night Shift Nurses-- it's graphic, blunt and so many other descriptive terms. "Death is all well and good, but suffering is what upsets me. And from the look of it, the nurses were rarely genuinely suffering." This is a good point, some of the lesser h-animes of similar subject matter had more characters you just had to feel bad for, all in all-- I think that's NSN's biggest flaw. But it hardly detracts from the feel of the anime in my opinion. |

Hentai version of the Pavlov experiment. I like how the nurses change and hell, it was sickening but I just can't stop watching. |

Night Shift Nurses isn't very sadistic. Or at the very least it's hardly the epitome. The more popular branches of guro can get awfully gory. And I personally don't think that fewer pity-demanding characters is a bad thing as far as NSN goes - I was generally quite pleased with the character variety and development. I think the psychological manipulation that the series thrives on makes it almost disturbingly realistic. |

It may not be the most/epitome of sadism in an h-anime, but I think it's definitely the most acknowledged in one. But that goes without saying, NSN is pretty well know so it comes off as such. |

Funny how i changed my mind, first of all I would feel sadness and pain if these kind of things were translated in real life this is something which can't be tolerate OF COURSE . The first time I saw a bit of this serie I immediately switched off actually it was the first time i saw hentai lol and seeing blood coming out from girls' vagina was horrible i meant why depicted things until that far ? I just wanted since a few weeks to get over this unfamous scene which horrified me and I think with time i became tougher than I used to be cause the eggs and natto scene didn't shock me even though It would put my guts inside out if I'd witness such a thing in real life … Basically we just have to keep in mind that this is fantasy but the guys who have made this serie must be kinda sicko because i would never imagine these kind of scenarios … |

Did they actually change the laws in japan about hentai after this? i read that they did, and they aren't allowed to show some S&M and fetishes like they used to. I didn't believe it at first, but all the new hentais for the past few years have been pretty tame compared to the old ones... anyone have info? |

Yes in 2009, and no rape hentai in official VNs either. ![]() |
