THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- *Mod edit* Modified by aero, 11-17-08, 3:44 PM Oops! I appear to be incapable of following Rules 16 and 17, so I had to have a mod change my sig for me. |

Definitely getting interesting. I didn't follow 100% of the dialog but I got most of it.. (Maybe I shouldn't always go for raws in these more conversational shows..) Anyway, ep 5 was pretty quiet, but that seems to be the style of Mouryou no Hako by now. I wonder what role the two talking with Masuoka (I already forgot their names..) will have in the next few episodes, and if they actually know anything about the disappearance. Definitely got the feeling that the guy at the end was onto Sekiguchi, I mean it's only natural.. with all his bizarrely accurate insight. ![]() |

Well it appears that Aero Subs is experiencing staff problems and needs translators and translation checkers, type setters and more... So it doesn't look like there will be subs for a while unless someone else will pick the series up from ep. 4. It doesn't look like that is gonna happen. So you gonna have to practice your Japanese for now. Or you could just play add lib. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Still the best anime of this season by far. Everything's perfect, the only thing that could possibly make it better would be to have more explanations soon, but I'm not particularly eager either, since it's so great as it is now : mysterious, extremely beautiful, dark and compelling. |

This is the fith episode and we still have no context for the seemingly main story. We just got more characters and more questions....I doubt that this show is going to be able to competently tell a compelling story. I've already lost quite a bit of hope by now. |

Another episode of this show that raises another bunch of questions. With every episode I become more curious. |

I think this episode is a little more confusing than others.... but there is an important aclarations: Kanako isn´t legitimate daughter.... and there is a bunch of money behind, but I still cant figure out what is the relation between the Kanako´s "murder" (or the thing happened at the train station) an d the death bodies in the boxes..... |

angel999 said: ![]() That scene strongly reminded me of Stephen Kings "The Dark Tower" novel-series. All in all a nice episode. But, as already mentioned, the story is still a bit too obscure. ;) |

this confusion creates more intrigue hopefully a solid main story is revealed..Madhouse is probably the best in the business with Production I.G a close second. |
